  • In this quicky, I show how I personally clean Forgeworld Mould Release Agent. It’s a very fast guide on how to properly wash tough resin pieces of any factory solvents and residue, though Forgeworld’s mould release stuff comes to the minds of many due to its infamy. Not removed right, it can ruin the gluing and painting process to come, and I’d rather not compromise the structural integrity of expensive Forgeworld kits. Some of the models are even spindly or place a lot of pressure on certain glue / epoxy points, so the last thing you’d want is to add another potential fault point through unwashed parts.
They only really need a quick soak and a rinse, but I take it a few steps further with how I go about cleaning them. It’s arguably overboard, but I have yet to encounter a kit that hasn’t gone together smoothly after this was done. I know I’ve said the Warlord didn’t exactly go together smoothly, but that was for other reasons and not mold release residue. Hopefully this small tutorial is still detailed despite its short length, at least enough to give you a proper idea how to go about cleaning the resin or adapting the procedure for your own use. It’s straightforward and a rather basic routine anyway, and one which I’m likely to do a dozen times more in the future.
Quicky Guides: These quickies are very short tutorial videos that act more like helpful tips and suggestions rather than a speed guide. They’re not long enough, detailed, or designed to be in my Crass Course series which are the more fleshed out guides with even more jokes. These are just supposed to be quick and to the point so you can get on and do other things with your day, but still aim to have some comedy and entertainment value. Time is the currency everyone has to spend, so thank you kindly for spending some on me!

I'm still having a love/hate relationship with LOG footage, but I'll be stepping the upload speed back up again now that my schedule is freed up!
    P.S. - That email doesn't work. Or at least I haven't checked.

The only reason I buy FW items is because they sell kits I just happen to really like, like DKK tankers, and they’re aren’t available anywhere else.
Shit, eBay had *1* DKK tank commander, same price as the FW pack, but only 1. Same price and I’d get 2 from FW
