After this video, you will understand the 5 main male personality types. You will also identify where you belong in the pantheon of male personality archetypes. It is important to know that a man does not have to stay in one category for his whole life. Several men who now occupy the higher categories started in the lower ones. They got discontented with living below their potential and made a deliberate decision to better themselves.
I will discuss the Alpha, Beta, Omega, Gamma, and Sigma male personality types and examine their similarities as well as their differences.
If you have ever examined the animal kingdom, you will know that the Alpha male is the one who attracts the female, out of the entire pack, for the purpose of procreation. This also means that the chances of other males to get with the females reduce when the Alpha is around.
But then, that applies in the animal world. In the human world, things are slightly different. By different, I mean that apart from romantic partnerships and emotions that govern the human world, in this massive rat race, Alpha males are not the only ones who demonstrate women’s ideals. At least not anymore.
In all fairness, the best combination to determine your masculinity is a variety of personality types you can practice. While Alpha males appear more desirable with their rugged and rough exterior, it is actually the other personality types that attract women the most. Things have drastically changed today. There is also a high probability that men change their personality type with experience and age to better understand relationships in their lifetime.
Alpha male personality
The Alpha male personality is the most popular. This personality type goes with the nickname ‘bad boy’ and members are often the men who need their men to be men. He is the macho person who drips confidence with a bit of aggression, who is outgoing and demanding. This is not to say that Alpha males naturally objectify women.
Beta male personality
The perfect Beta male is your average ‘Mr. Nice Guy’. He is quite moderate in his approach to life and his ‘nice guy’ personality gets him by. He gets taken for a ride, from time to time and then because of that, but generally, everyone likes him. Betas are more sensitive and less aggressive than Alphas. They also take criticism well and demonstrate collaborative skills.
Omega male personality
Are you familiar with Ben Stiller, the Hollywood star? In most of his movies, he acts as an Omega male. Ben has really nerdy habits. For example, he may be a collector of something like comic books, coins, insects, or even video games. He is incredibly laidback and lazy and acts like he doesn’t have a care in the world.
Gamma male personality
Gamma males love enjoying themselves but don’t avoid their responsibilities at the same time. They are the adventurous and fun-loving ones who tend to get incredibly restless if they are left idle for too long. An Alpha male might mature into a Gamma male because Gamma males are a more refined version of them.
Sigma male personality
The Sigma male is said to be the more evolved version of the Alpha. Sigmas get things done their own way and have little time to bend to arbitrary rules that are constructed by society. They believe that without the superficial rules, they can be more efficient in using their own initiative and innovation.

This is an interesting rankings of Alphas to Gammas. While watching this to the end I felt like I have experienced most of the ranks that has been detailed. That means the rankings is not set in stone on where you are right now. You are a Gamma right now but can become Alpha and you are an Alpha right now but become a Delta later on. It is a mindset.
You are probably no being honest with how you are grading your test then. A alpha doesn't feel like a delta. Peacock don't fly with sparrows and eagles don't kick it with chickens.

What I was trying to say was that you can test yourself now and be a delta but later you can test yourself again and results can become alpha. I think the real messure of test is of a group of people use this ranking system to place you on where they think you fit this system. it's not going to be perfect but if you get a diverse group you can filter out bias observations and get a good messure.

I consciously pushed myself from Omega to somewhere between Alpha and Sigma between the ages of 13 and 19… 30 years old now and can say this “soul searching” made for quite a long strange trip figuring out this world. Very confident and happy in my body/ mind, career and life overall, but it took some “waking up”. So much of this is all about self confidence and living in the moment more… I regret letting so many years go by at the bottom of the hierarchy as a tall/ handsome young man who unfortunately just didn’t know how to fit in early in life

The characterisation is rather hilarious actually - a well spoken pom talking about nerds and psychopaths. However, people don't have to stay in the lane they were born into - they can change and improve themselves.
There two personalities that I have seen that are missing from this list.
1. The "Prodigy": the type who are remarkably good and something without any practice or learning. They tend to be passively egocentric and can be either extroverted or introverted. They are sometimes good at everything, and other personality types are usually jealous of them, including alphas.
2. The "Ghost": the type who do not want to be seen, regardless of their achievements, abilities, or attractiveness. This type is always introverted and is the true rarest type. They might be attractive, but act in a way that keeps women away, sometimes on purpose.

Name every desirable and rare quality you can have and I probably have it, right down to the grey eyes. That is why I am great at basically everything. I was already good at everything, but my rare gifts made me even better in all things. To be able to truly master anything is something truly rare. And it's not automatically something you can do just because you happen to be an alpha or sigma male.

My uncle was a Beta Male and he meet his wife, my aunt, at church she understands he very shy person, and she inter communicate with him, and she help him get out of his shell. They date for 2 years until he got married with her, after that, he became alpha male because his he wants to be responsible of the man of the house.

I think for these categories to be accurate, all 6 categories should be based on men with the same looks. Otherwise, just being tall can get you mistaken for being alpha or having your moms hips can get you mistaken as a gamma.

No one likes to admit they are a "type", even though almost everyone is. This is particularly true if you can identify yourself here with an unflattering category and don't want to believe that the types are defined by the essence of who you are. People are good at deluding themselves and so wish to believe the fantasy that they are unsuccessful at work and in their love life merely because they don't care or aren't trying hard rather than because of what they are.

I believe there are only 3 personality types: Alphas (leaders), Betas (followers), and Sigmas (loners). Although each man may have a dominant personality type, I also believe a man can be either of the 3 based on the situation. For example, I predominantly have the traits of a Sigma, but don't mind playing the role of Alpha or Beta if the situation calls for it. Please don't allow videos like this define u.
If you are looking at pattern of behavior, there are more than 3 classifications. Alphas lead and betas follow. They are both social. Some introverts don't like to follow because they have social anxiety. They would like to be part of the group but can't . A sigma seems to describe those that don't want to be part of the group. They're not hoping to be part of the group. They are things people. However they are not retreating into things to cope. They also don't want to be leaders unless they are subject matter experts in which case they are working on a the thing more productively, and make great battlefield generals in that context.
This are your basic Traits but you can mutate of you really wanted to in a given situation
Its a spectrum, not an absolute. We do what we have to do to survive. I am predominately sigma too. But, if I see something that is accomplishing a cause I deem worthy, they I can submit to an alpha. But, if he fucks up I will tell him to his face. Probably diplomatically because that is the logical course of action. A beta would probably not do that.

I think that a major determinant is the experiences of a man.
Until I go 20, I had all the Alpha traits.
After 20 that I realised that world can be hard and after meeting many useless people I became a Sigma because I didn’t want to deal with many people.
After Covid and after losing some friends I could feel becoming a Beta Male.
I’m sure every man varies on 2 of these traits.

A Sigma is more in line if who you want to be. Sometimes being an Alpha can make you so confident that it veers on obnoxious. I strongly disagree that an Alpha male gets any woman he wants. A woman who is secure with herself/smart does not want to be with a guy who is loud and pushy.

Problem is each character in the Greek alphabet means something . .

Triangles esoterically mean Divinity.
As a Greek I just see it as number system because we still use the ancient Greek number system.

β'=2
γ'=3...etc so they use it in psychology and other sciences because most of medical terms are in greek.

The closest one I'm to is delta, but I'm not physically or mentally weak. I'm a welder so it requires some physical strength it also requires me to think outside the box sometimes. I would also say there is a sprinkling of Sigma as I prefer to be alone and do my own thing.
