She didn’t know any facts. No excuses for her. I’m from Ga. I grew up around racist family members and I’m very thankful that I learned from their mistakes, their disgusting beliefs, etc. I also had some family who isn’t racist which helped me learn as well. Even now, being 27.. I’m continuing to learn everyday about history and how to change it. I don’t have children yet, but when I do.. they will be taught about George, Emmett Till, etc. it’s a shame racism still exists, I still see it down here and it sucks. I’m praying that before I die one day, the world will be better.
