2024-2015=9 years That‘s old already ;) Though I have the impression that the hunger for more performant system was greater 20 years ago than it is today. For average day-to-day home use a 2015 MacBook with SSD and multi-core CPU can still serve very well.
@@THEPHINTAGECOLLECTOR if you retained a PowerPC system through 2015 it would have been so much faster it would be insane. No such giant step has been made since. Apple silly con is fast but not that fast yet.

Sir could you help with witj an issue. I have an old 2008 white macbook now running Lubuntu 22.04. The wifi works but since I got my newer modem, it detects the network but cannot connect to it! Weired?
