@@NewIdeas226 I've always loved those bikes but the new ones don't have many parts available so we literally wouldn't be able to do a build with one...maybe the older one would be an option but I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in that.

Yamaha is the most "Italian" of the Japanese brands. The most unconventional, daring, in term of design and technology. comparing to the other three. They went 3 cylinder while Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki never considered it. They went crossplane, unlike the "sisters". They have GPS embedded tech like Aprilia and Ducati. In my opinion, the best brand out of Japan.

Stock battery only has 130 CCA ?
That's pretty weak.
Easy to find a tiny lithium battery with 200 CCA or more.
Looking forward to this build,I’ve got same bike,mods so far..akrapovic link pipe & end can 😀 tail tidy,pillion pegs removed & lithium battery, just in process of changing parts for carbon fibre 👍

Do they make indoor motorcycle tracks? And if so, is there one near you? 🚴🏁
I know you aren't a track rider but if they do make indoor tracks that would be a clean patch of road with a mostly right temp for you to test the bikes on. I know they have indoor bicycle tracks in this world, so there should be something similar for motorcycles and cars. If not, then someone has a void in the industry that needs to be filled.

Really looking forward this Yamaha R1M build series! Finally Japanese bike! Im big Yamaha fan and have owned Yamaha WR125x and Yamaha Mt07 which was so much fun to drive and sounded amazing with Akrapovic. This R1 with crossplane is just next level god sound. Gonna be so good with Akrapovic!

Had the same problem with the license plate. Didnt think to swap the wires. But its weird that the nrc came in a plastic bag. So did mine. Usually it comes in the nrc box.

I don't think that the battery is as small as you think, Jaret. It's looks like it's mounted with the side on top, which you can do with an AGM battery.
Agree with you Jaret on the best sounding street bike engines: Aprilia v4 and cross-plane Yamaha R1.

Already loving this build! It would be awesome if there were an undertail exhaust for this bike like the original crossplane R1s. Maybe something like the Austin Racing undertail twin exhaust for the Super Duke R could be modded to fit this? Regardless, I think it'll be an absolute beast.
Also, as an RSV4 owner, I can't agree more with what you said around 29:20 about the CP4 R1 and the RSV4 being the best sounding bikes in the world. They're the only ones that actually make my head turn when I hear them.
For your personal Lambo Diavel, I saw that AEM Factory have started making some parts for it, just in case you were looking for things to put on the bike.

All these years of seeing Dado working on so many different motorcycles, and we don't know what is his ultimate dream bike, The one bike that he would love to own, if money wasn't an issue.
And at 29:23, I think the best sounding motorcycle in History is the Honda CBX 1050. That motorcycle sounds like a freaking F1 car.
You are missing the unit that sits in square recess on the rear cowl.

Ultra stoked on this build, would look super tough with a belly pan once you get that exhaust replaced.

I race and do track days on a 2016 R1...Graves exhaust all the way. The sound is intoxicating.
The best sound of motorcycle is the Husqvarna Nuda 900R!!
Why not try a different tail tidy? So many better choices out there than NRC, that looks much cleaner. Also, you do get a brake light with integrated indicators for the R1.

Harbor Freight lifts ok for the job . Really like the Grey Roll up front wheel chock works nice .
