Wow, this has to be the longest I've been gone from YT, at least in a long form format. But I had to continue the tradition of reviewing the best sunscreens of the year. And this time, I was joined by the one and only @glowbyramon !! It's a lengthy video so please get your seatbelt buckled and enjoy the ride
I really like Goodal calming sunscreen. Its a physical sunscreen, semi matte finish. It doesn’t contain any niacinamide or hyaluronic acid. Underrated sunscreen.. tried so many but this is the best for my skin.
I can seemingly use some products with niacinamide, but niacinamide serums make my skin feel hot/irritated and look red which is the opposite of its purpose
The Naked Sundays SPF 50+ lip oil is wonderful, and they do have a line of tinted ones! I love my watermelon shade (and scent) 🍉 The brand has a full range of sun protection products, from top-up sprays to sun sticks, which makes them superior to Supergoop etc as the items are better priced and everything is SPF 50+ ☀
The garnier one has a non mat version that had the same name as the skinny mint bha one but it’s cheaper, and comes in a misha sungluid type bottle packaging. I hated that la Roche Posay atholos or what ever suncreen and never found a EU Spf I could bare using twice. I love that thing! It is very moisturising and fully replaces a moisturiser so don’t use it during a heatwave if you have oily skin but it doesn’t feel like it’s leaving that layer on the skin. It sinks in beautifully and deeply nourishes and moisturises the skin. It leaves a natural glow and feels amazing. I’ve been ordering K-spf’s since I was 16 (now I’m 21) and while it isn’t a match to those, it comes VERY close and for me the convenience of picking up a bottle at the supermarket currently outweighs having to order it online, curate a basket with other products I need to justify the shipping prices and then not get to buy skincare for the next 3 months…
Hello @liahyoo this is very helpful . Could you please make other products videos like best 2024 of serum, facewash, cleansing oils/balm, moisturizer, treatments . It would be very helpful
Such a great variety of sunscreen options! My favorites this year are krave beauty beet the sun and skin1004 water fit sun serum. I’m also curious about your take & recommendations for spf sprays to reapply over makeup?
I have oily skin and for some time, I could not understand why some 'oil-control' products just made everything worse and made me a big grease ball. It turned out to be all products that contain niacinamide on top of the ingredients. Also, hyaluronic acid makes my skin more red and inflamed.
I love niacinamide, but I don’t love that it’s in almost every product! Too much of a good thing is an important rule in skincare. If its my toner and serum I don’t need it on my spf.
Thought it was just me who had a pilling problem with my sunscreen, I feel like only fluid and maybe lotion like sunscreens don't give me that problem.
RAMON x LIAH I DID NOT EXPECT THIS! Happy halloweenn 🎃
Haha happy halloweeeeen!

Oh that's so interesting.. I've never heard of that! But glad you were able to identify it
@LiahYoo Yeah! Got my sensitive skincare routine dialed in thanks to getting educated by your content :)
i have it too. i thought it was just me.
@@offline._archive i believe it’s not super uncommon to get irritation! At least I’ve heard James Welsh mention it if I recall
Me too. I look for products without niacinamide
I like the Abib heartleaf sunscreen and also the new formula Beet the Sun by Krave beauty 😊

V cool!! I need to check them out😊
@@LiahYoo I hope you do! Your matcha cleanser saved my skin, it's amazing 🥰

Can you guys put a disclaimer on brands youre partnering with or sponsors? Thanks!
This was so fun to watch
You’re so kind 🥹💘
Omg i love 020! P20!! Powerful and less shined than most jbeauty sunscreens

Now I’m curious to try the Sun Bum sunscreen for days I go to the gym. Thank you for the recommendations!
Oh! lmk how it goes
That last category!! YAS 👏
yes :) !!

Thank you for sharing such an amazing video🥰
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just like Ramon, I follow my heart 💕 in determining the amount of sunscreen to apply lol
That's the best way to do it! 💖
I can watch Ramon nerding out about ingredients forever
Oh, same 😂
Yeah there’s this weird hatred of Niacinamide and hyaluronic acid
I can think of the derm responsible for this
@ can you tell me the name

Total Sunblock.. try waxhead paste spf 30 or headhunter face stick. Nuff said
The EU Eucerin dry touch spf 50 for the face isn't water resustant, at least I could find it mentioned anywhere.
My holy grail, eucerin oil control sunscreen for semi matte makeup look.
Amazing!! Does it not pill on you?
@ I have been using it for few years now, never had the pulling problem. I also don’t use moisturiser. Also they have a tinted version which is great.
I missed your video Liah! But is it just me or is this video super low res?
Today could not get any better
aww!
Do you know Riemann sunscreen? I saw a review and their SPF test is high to 75, UVA-PF 57. High protection, and long lasting
yees it was included in this video!
Are any of these fragrance, essential oil and alcohol free? 😊
Surprisingly, most of them are!
I love niacinamide, but I don’t love that it’s in almost every product! Too much of a good thing is an important rule in skincare. If its my toner and serum I don’t need it on my spf.
i’m surprised round lab isn’t in the list
💙💙💙
The eucerin also pills horribly on me. Even when applied to clean skin, it will pill on itself when (re)applying :(
Thought it was just me who had a pilling problem with my sunscreen, I feel like only fluid and maybe lotion like sunscreens don't give me that problem.
haha yes it's very common!
BOJ aqua does not have tinosorb M it has tinosorb S
The BOJ Aqua fresh pills on me if I try to re-apply.
The stick pills immediately and horribly on me from the start, even if I have no skincare under it.
the aqua fresh or the sunstick?
@@LiahYoo The sunstick
Something must have been wrong with Ramon’s microphone. I couldn’t watch the full video. Unfortunate.
Yesss n This is Gonna b Gonna b Excellent LY n GR cause Sunscreen Rocks🧴🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Thursday😀🎃!!!….
Thank you!
Why so many American sunscreens? I see only 2 sunscreens that I’ve seen Ramon mention before
you must not watch his channel much then
