I wish you would do a dedicated video on reading and dialing in the micrometer.

I'll add it to the list!
But it may take a while! As much as I enjoy shooting .303 British, the components are getting expensive. Even cheap bullets are a minimum of $0.30 cents, while the Sierra Matchkings are $0.50/each. So, I'm going to wait until the prices come down before I get back into reloading for that caliber again.
However, I have multiple micrometer dies. I'll try to showcase them a bit more.

I think the great thing about buying the Redding brand is knowing that it's just going to work. My Forster Ultra Micrometer seating die is finicky with brass neck thickness and I've managed to flare out the "cup" of the seating stem but using too much force. There is now way you could do that with this. On the flipside, I have a Lee seating die that has poor finish on it, with a burr in the seating stem "cup" which mars the bullet. I'll be putting out a video about a Lyman seating die, soon, where the seating stem "cup" is really small and similarly can damage the bullet.

Hi. Is the setup easy ? Do you just screw the new seating plug into the die and start seating? I have a new seating plug for my redding die comming in tommorow

just bought my first Redding seating die and comparing it to the Hornady match die I cannot find any difference.

The biggest difference you'll find between any seating die set is the bullet fitment of the seating plug/stem. Whenever I run into a bullet seating issue, it almost always traces back to how well of contact the stem has with the bullet's ogive.
For my 7x57 mauser, using 168gr Nosler CCs, my best die is a Lee bullet seating die, which I sanded the stem to mirror the bullet's curve. For personal favorites, I lean towards the RCBS MatchMaster, which is really close to the Hornady design. (Rather, probably vice-versa.)

    Hello
I’m wondering if I can use the micrometer on a Lee bullet seating die?
    Merry Christmas 🎄

I doubt it, but, but I will get back with you on that. I started with the Lee RGB die-set, so I do have a Lee Seater die. Standby.

And that's going to be a certain on the no. The Redding's seating stem is, basically, one machined unit, and the threads to attach it to the main die body are too narrow to ultimately work --- the seating stem itself also won't fit into the main die body. It just won't plain fit.
If Lee finds a way to make an micrometer adapter for their dies, or even a way to approximate one, they'll rule the world.

@@upnorthreloading2214 i'm gonna guess the floating stem is key on thier dies.

Redding dies look to be very similar almost clones of pacific durachrome dies from the past.

That is a name I hadn't heard in a while! If I recall correctly, Hornady bought Pacific to make up their own reloading dies and equipment.
No doubt, though, that there's some influence and DNA is a lot of neighboring products. When I look at certain things, I see a lot of Lyman/Ideal heritage as well.
