Sorry I’m confused on third drill. You talk about making a double play. But he never tags the base before throwing to second. Wouldn’t you need to go back and tag the base to get runner out at first assuming it was a ground ball. Or are assuming it’s not ground ball in the scenario?
To keep your eyes over the ball. He mentions it on the drill. If you try to to pick a ball with your left hand and left foot forward, you overbalance to see the ball right.
You guys are legit. Keep it up.
thanks this'll prolly help for picks
I really like the walking pick and wall pick drills. Picking is definitely the weakest part of my game at first. Thanks for the useful video!
Thank you for the videos. I never played 1st in baseball growing up, but I am now in Slowpitch. These have helped me take my game from ok to stellar.
Wow! That's fantastic. That's great to hear. Thank you for taking the time to let us know.
LOVE your videos! PLEASE keep ‘em coming. 👍
Thank you! Will do!
THanks Good drills.
Is that the right mitt for 1st base at 2:30min???
Learned this back in college but hard to do on a practice bag that’s not steaked in Sunday bush league 😅

Also which size smoosh balls do you recommend? I got some but it seems little hard for our Kinders-2nd to catch bare hand.
The first baseman would field the ground ball, throw to second for the force, then get back to first base to receive the throw for the double play.
Why switch legs on the forehand wall drill?

But as a first baseman you're always stepping out with same leg. You don't switch feet depending on where ball is
