Every once in a while a vehicle comes out where you can just _tell_ that the guy in charge of making absolutely loves it's real life counterpart, nice to see they let the AC-130 fan design it for online. Even funnier that this category is mostly full of militarised vehicles and then there's the Lada.
I could imagine this basically being a "trial run" of sorts, for it. So they can iron out some issues for it, I know Rockstar doesn't tend to bother, but if it's something they're putting in their upcoming game, I could see an attempt at that, even under the guise of something they put in their existing game

If you want that feeling just go Avenger autopilot and more stronger guns. I once was in grinder mood not pvp mood and one griefer tryhard was keeping killing me from avenger solo by switching between 3 weapons. That thing is strong , he got me 10- 0 i will not lie. I manged to somejow scratch his avenger by very fastly going off radar and taking chernobog but it doesnt last too long. Lazer or hydra by that time was snack for upper camera of avenger, doesnt matter off radar if you fastly switch between 3 cameras. It was some 3 years ago, it was my badly pvp counter against ewo helmet emo type tryhard. Maybe because i didnt encounter avenger back then so it was like first real trouble for me.
There is something I like to do if I'm alone and need a second for something. Recruit the nearest low level to you. More often than not they'll gladly come aboard if you talk nice to em

I know this is kinda off topic, this is the sixth iteration of the AC130. The first one was equipped with 4 miniguns and 4 20mm Vulcan Cannons, the next iteration had 2 miniguns, 2 20mm Vulcans and 2 40mm Bofors, the third iteration had 2 miniguns, 1 Bofors and the big one the 105mm Howitzer. The Forth iteration was 2 miniguns which was later removed so that the plane only had 1 Bofors and 1 Howitzer. The sixth iteration installed a new weapon called the GAU5/U which was a 25mm rotary cannon as well as 1 Bofors and 1 Howitzer. The final iteration which is currently in use has the ATK GAU23/A 30mm Auto Cannon and 1 Howitzer. In addtion to these weapons theyve added a few wing mounted weapons as well. They now can carry the AGM114 Hellfire missiles as well as cluster bombs. They also have added the Gunslinger weapons system capable of firing the AGM176 Griffin missile or the GBU44/B Viper Strike munition from a 10 round magazine. So for the time period, this would be the correct weapons setup for the Titan Gunship.
I guarantee this plane is in GTA 6’s Air Force. (Probably with an F-15 or F-22 copy) and the Raiju will be the Navy Jet. (Or a copy of the Hornet/F-14 since that’s what Florida is known for)
It's not so much the plane itself possibly being a backport, it's the mechanics I'm interested to see this late in GTA V. The on-board weapons need to be reloaded after a set number of shots that are shown on-screen. A reload that you can also manually trigger, rather than it being X number of seconds after the last shot was fired, or requiring the player to fire all shots. Hopefully, (though a return of PvE-Only lobbies are priority one), this is a sign of how they'll be treating weaponised vehicles in VI, or at least its Online mode. They'll be less, ultimate toys of destruction of a hyper-casual single player murder spree mindlessly dumped into multiplayer, and require actual strategic timing to use efficiently rather than permanently holding down the fire button.
Yes I get what you mean I agree that they should be bringing in a pve first then the ac 130 (however if we did then it would be hard depending on the game difficulty) as since griefers could just come and get us whilst not paying attentions but then you could also paint it dark and then be able to go off the radar and use ghost organization but overall I’m very happy that their bring it in to the game although the release will be very long.

I’ve actually flown in many C-130 and been inside gunships. This is an orbital aircraft. It’s designed to conduct combat in an orbital path . Many pilots stated they could put the 105 mm a trash can at 10k feet. They also had the focused firepower to cover and entire football fields in shells.
Were it not for the strange sound dynamics in this game, I would have loved/feared hearing the echoes of this gunship opening fire on someone in the distance. Just imagine weaving through traffic in your brand new Coquette interceptor with extreme precision, and the mighty sound of that 25mm dawns on you. You know someone somewhere was just turned into human paste.
I love it and I hate it the same time. We cant forget that the coin has two sides. We can see ourselves in this, but imagine that the "griefers" are flying through map and processing spawn-killing loop to everyone (or just you), destroying cargo and business stuff - just because they can... and you trying to fight back - how? Having that speed and armor on it doesnt make it easy, right. I smell hopeless to the LS once more
At this point just get rid of any large bomber in this game. This will be so much better for any air to ground missions, especially hanger missions that require a lot of boom booms. If this thing gets nerfed or bugged in any way R* I swear on everyone's life, I will not trust you to cook with gta 6.
Fun fact, during that mission your 'character' actually talks (he's the TV operator) It's the only time a playable character says anything in the 3 OG games until Captain Price in 'Dust to dust' in MW3.
Glad you enjoyed the AC 130, I did too. Though it was a pain in the butt to add into a save and bring it to xbox as well to spawn it in that lobby we all were in 👍. Also i made it so the AC 130 has 100 armor 100 speed 100 turning all that so it was max. When someone is in the AC 130 it takes like 12 rpgs and 24 erounds to destroy.
@commandervile394 when i say 100 i mean like adding armor in the los santos custom know how you have the option to choose 20, 40, 60, 80, 100? I just set the armor and everything to 100 aka max. I do not know the in depth values though like all the specific numbers. all i know is i maxed it out in every way though the guns you saw are the stock guns, they come as is

The biggest defect of this plane is his taile. No matter it could take a lot of missiles on body. One shot from sniper rifle with exploding ammo on tail making him unmanuverable and fall down. Same with homing missiles... One homing missile can shoot down this plane because missile always tracking behind plane straight to his tail. And its to huge and slow to avoid any missile...
WTF FINALLY???? Shame my friends aren't playing it anymore though, this is a beautiful co-op tool when doing heist setups lol, like two people manning the gunship while two are performing the setups

This and the Viper were 2 vehicles i was excited about. (Did wish i played the COD music while flying) I feel like the pilot should be able to use all gunner seats, IF they were able to set the flight path for auto pilot. Have it kinda set up like the "point of interest" on the map, you set the "point of flight path" and you have 6-10 markers to do it, 1 marker be reserved for exiting/disabling autopilot
That's awesome but still a huge target in the sky tbh... When spawning PC vehicles through mod menus and such the armor values and other things can end up being not an accurate representation of what the actual in-game vehicle will be like upon release. But even still pretty cool 👍🏻
@MellowYe77ow This vehicle is not even in the game yet so the only way that I know of is to spawn it with a trainer. Technically all the new vehicles are in the game as soon as the DLC is released but they are hidden from us in whatever way that I'm sure involves coding languages that I do not have an understanding of. But with trainers they have the ability (in certain situations) to access game files (vehicles) that are hidden or not normally accessible. I find it hard to believe this was done on XBOX especially because far as I know Ghille plays on PC as well. PC has access to things we never will on console. I could be potentially wrong, but it seems to me that this was more than likely done on PC.
It's funny how the big air vehicles were all useless a couple of years ago, but now they are the most op, including the avenger. Mainly cuz how rockstar nerfed the Oppressor mk2 missiles, jet cannon, savage hitbox, and now many ground vehicles received missile jammer mods, making all the missiles obsolete. At least it is good to know that this thing can compete with ground targets.
Best big plane they have added by far. I just wish that the guns had a little bit more ammo and a way faster reload time. I like the try to balance it but considering you really need 4 people for this to be 100% useful, it's not that broken especially with flying bikes and explosive snipers in the game. Anyways Rockstar did good overall on this I have to admit!
0:50 - honestly thats cap, its main guns are just reskinned other weapons. like the 40mm is just a fancy Avenger Turret lmao, looking at the 105mm and its just a reused orb strike asset, with turned down explosions
At the very least, this is more-so realistic than an orbital cannon striking you while walking down the street. The AC-130 is also a great crew operating aircraft for teamwork and protecting assets during sales
Like many things in GTA Online this would be really cool if you had a group of cooperating people working like PMC's in a large scale mission, the problem with that though is I can't think of any missions that would require that, and unless you have a large group of friends it is very unlikely to be organized (especially not in a random lobby)
I think its just right with giving the pilot access to ONE turret. If you want the full experience yeah bring some friends on board, plus the pilot shouldnt get distracted too much while piloting the plane
I'd say this and the Terrorbyte being made actually useful are about the few things I'm look forward to getting when I get GTA again. (Lot of progress on Xbox. So when I get an Xbox again, I've got some goals at least.)
As someone who stopped playing GTAO a long time ago, but still likes to see what's being added into the game, I feel like these past updates, while lacking in real good mission content, they make it up with the vehicles. It sorta feels as if R* is using GTA V as a testbed for GTA 6 content. Things like the new DH-7 Iron Mule and the F-160 Raiju just seem to be vehicles that will most likely be added in GTA 6 as standard vehicles. As real-life technology evolves, from 4th Gen fighters to 5th Gen stealth fighters, it kinda feels like Rockstar is going to follow this trend. I wouldn't be surprised if the DH-7 replaces the Cargobob and the Raiju replaces the Lazer in GTA 6. Since both are vehicles used by the real life USMC, maybe we could get an USMC base in GTA 6. The Hunter could also make an appearance, albeit I personally think it's somewhat oversized compared to its real-life counterpart.
The worst part to me about this thing existing isn't that it makes the other big planes bad by comparison, it's that they think they can just release this *without fixing the bombushka's guns which needed a fix because they share code with the volatile and that's a mission required mission as part of the Doomsday Heist act 3* . Just because they add a "shiny new toy" doesn't mean the code gets retrofit.
You gotta remember rockstar got the people that worked on FIVEM on their team so I am excited to see what new content rockstar comes out with and for GTA 6

I’ve actually flown in many C-130 and been inside gunships. This is an orbital aircraft. It’s designed to conduct combat in an orbital path . Many pilots stated they could put the 105 mm a trash can at 10k feet. They also had the focused firepower to cover and entire football fields in shells.

Were it not for the strange sound dynamics in this game, I would have loved/feared hearing the echoes of this gunship opening fire on someone in the distance. Just imagine weaving through traffic in your brand new Coquette interceptor with extreme precision, and the mighty sound of that 25mm dawns on you. You know someone somewhere was just turned into human paste.

Glad you enjoyed the AC 130, I did too. Though it was a pain in the butt to add into a save and bring it to xbox as well to spawn it in that lobby we all were in 👍. Also i made it so the AC 130 has 100 armor 100 speed 100 turning all that so it was max. When someone is in the AC 130 it takes like 12 rpgs and 24 erounds to destroy.

@commandervile394 when i say 100 i mean like adding armor in the los santos custom know how you have the option to choose 20, 40, 60, 80, 100? I just set the armor and everything to 100 aka max. I do not know the in depth values though like all the specific numbers. all i know is i maxed it out in every way though the guns you saw are the stock guns, they come as is

The biggest defect of this plane is his taile. No matter it could take a lot of missiles on body. One shot from sniper rifle with exploding ammo on tail making him unmanuverable and fall down. Same with homing missiles... One homing missile can shoot down this plane because missile always tracking behind plane straight to his tail. And its to huge and slow to avoid any missile...
Can't wait to buy this thing and scream "ENEMY AC-130 ABOVE" down my mic in a Public Session

I saw a video on Twitter where some guy was able to put a car in the back, though it may be similar to the Bombushka where it requires the stock aircraft to work

I feel like the pilot should be able to use all gunner seats, IF they were able to set the flight path for auto pilot.
Have it kinda set up like the "point of interest" on the map, you set the "point of flight path" and you have 6-10 markers to do it, 1 marker be reserved for exiting/disabling autopilot

When spawning PC vehicles through mod menus and such the armor values and other things can end up being not an accurate representation of what the actual in-game vehicle will be like upon release. But even still pretty cool 👍🏻

@MellowYe77ow This vehicle is not even in the game yet so the only way that I know of is to spawn it with a trainer. Technically all the new vehicles are in the game as soon as the DLC is released but they are hidden from us in whatever way that I'm sure involves coding languages that I do not have an understanding of. But with trainers they have the ability (in certain situations) to access game files (vehicles) that are hidden or not normally accessible. I find it hard to believe this was done on XBOX especially because far as I know Ghille plays on PC as well. PC has access to things we never will on console. I could be potentially wrong, but it seems to me that this was more than likely done on PC.
It's funny how the big air vehicles were all useless a couple of years ago, but now they are the most op, including the avenger. Mainly cuz how rockstar nerfed the Oppressor mk2 missiles, jet cannon, savage hitbox, and now many ground vehicles received missile jammer mods, making all the missiles obsolete. At least it is good to know that this thing can compete with ground targets.

I just wish that the guns had a little bit more ammo and a way faster reload time. I like the try to balance it but considering you really need 4 people for this to be 100% useful, it's not that broken especially with flying bikes and explosive snipers in the game.

All the past recent updates have definitely been from GTA6 “assets”.
At the very least, this is more-so realistic than an orbital cannon striking you while walking down the street.
The AC-130 is also a great crew operating aircraft for teamwork and protecting assets during sales

Like many things in GTA Online this would be really cool if you had a group of cooperating people working like PMC's in a large scale mission, the problem with that though is I can't think of any missions that would require that, and unless you have a large group of friends it is very unlikely to be organized (especially not in a random lobby)

I'd say this and the Terrorbyte being made actually useful are about the few things I'm look forward to getting when I get GTA again.
(Lot of progress on Xbox. So when I get an Xbox again, I've got some goals at least.)
As someone who stopped playing GTAO a long time ago, but still likes to see what's being added into the game, I feel like these past updates, while lacking in real good mission content, they make it up with the vehicles. It sorta feels as if R* is using GTA V as a testbed for GTA 6 content. Things like the new DH-7 Iron Mule and the F-160 Raiju just seem to be vehicles that will most likely be added in GTA 6 as standard vehicles.
As real-life technology evolves, from 4th Gen fighters to 5th Gen stealth fighters, it kinda feels like Rockstar is going to follow this trend. I wouldn't be surprised if the DH-7 replaces the Cargobob and the Raiju replaces the Lazer in GTA 6. Since both are vehicles used by the real life USMC, maybe we could get an USMC base in GTA 6. The Hunter could also make an appearance, albeit I personally think it's somewhat oversized compared to its real-life counterpart.
The worst part to me about this thing existing isn't that it makes the other big planes bad by comparison, it's that they think they can just release this *without fixing the bombushka's guns which needed a fix because they share code with the volatile and that's a mission required mission as part of the Doomsday Heist act 3* . Just because they add a "shiny new toy" doesn't mean the code gets retrofit.
This would be an oppressor's worst nightmare if you use chaff then switch I'm pretty sure one shot is enough to destroy the mosquito
