Zieht mich so oft an.
Die Sünde scheint oft schmuck,
Aber bringt mich nur ins Loch.
Ich sage zu meinem Gott:
Ich lasse die Sünde nun doch!
Ich gebe mich hin an Gott,
Was mich freimacht von dem Joch.
Das Fleisch in mir es stark,
Das bringt mich mal zum fallen.
Ich bleibe nicht im Loch,
Ich bekenne Gott meine Sünde.
Die Liebe und Gnade von Gott
Vergibt mir meine Schande.
Ich wurde sehr teuer bezahlt
Mit dem Blut von Jesus Christus.
Hast du die Plautdietsch Liedtexts?

Does anybody know the lyrics to this song? I love it.
ich will es auch wissen. isch wil es ooch wisen
Chorus:
I run and don't give up,
As if running in a race.
I run, and struggle, and work,
And I know where to go.
I run and don't give up,
leave the unnecessary aside.
I run to what lies before me,
I run to my God.
Verse 1:
The world with it's lusts, so often tugs on me.
So often sin looks good, but only brings me to an end.
I say to my God: I leave the sin behind!
I give my life to God, who picks me up again.
Verse 2:
The flesh in me is strong, there's times it brings me to fall.
But I don't stay there for long, I confess my sin to God.
The love and grace of God, forgives me of all my shame.
I've been paid for a great price, with the blood of Jesus Christ!
Translated by Anne Groening

I REALLY LOVE THIS SONG THO I DON'T KNOW THAT LANGUAGE... IS THERE ENGLISH VERSION???
Its pennsylvania dutch
No, it's Plautdietsch. This is Low German. Pennsylvania Dutch is (Central) High German.
@@walterross9057 true
Echt gut habt ihr noch auf platt ?
Are they Prussian Germans ? Their language sounds somewhat like Dutch or Frisian, but anthropologically they look like Slavs or Balts.
+lemonstrevosgien I'd say they are. My ancestors are Prussian. It is a mixture of Dutch. I'm proud to be of this heritage and wouldn't change it for the world.
Mennonites emigrated first from North Netherland and neighboring North West Germany (so they are Saxons and Frisians) to West Prussia near Danzig. Their West Low Saxon (=West Low German) and Frisian adopted features of Low Prussian (belongs to East Low German) there. They have no physical features more characteristic of Slavs or Balts. And these vary from Poland to Croatia and from Lithuania to Latvia.
@@walterross9057 „they have no physical features“ the people in the video don’t, but germanic people definitely have certain physical features.
@@linajurgensen4698The topic was already exhaustively covered by old anthropology. Certain simplifications and generalizations, like the conception of the "Nordic Race", let ultimately classic anthropology to loose any relevance in the middle of the 20th c.. The conception of the head or skull shape defined by the proportion of length to breadth (cephalic/cranial index) as inheritable racial property proved to be untenable. Still other features (omitting absolute and relative length of head and face) can be used statistically for establishing relatedness. But autosomal genetic markers are better. Already the physician Rudolph von Virchow who was active in investigating the actual German population (Virchow school children survey, 1873) and the physical remains of prehistoric and ancient populations strongly refused to confuse ethnicity with race. He argued that differing stocks might have merged to historical peoples and that the constancy of physical traits wasn't established. He denied to call skulls "Germanic" or "Celtic". He hit the mark if the later fate of the cephalic resp. cranial index is considered. That said even classic anthropologists noted the differences between several Germanic populations. North Germans are different from both Scandinavians and West resp. Central Germans. The same if physical remains (bones, skulls) of ancient populations are compared. But when all northern European populations were actually dolichocephalic (had longish heads in the mean) in the early medieval period the Germanic populations appeared rather homogenous. But that's based on few physical features, like the said head shape. On closer look even samples regarded Germanic from Mecklenburg (south of the Baltic Sea) and Danish isles differ from ones in Sweden and North Germany.
Northern Europeans differ from other European subpopulations but the often assumes homogeneity is lacking even when ancient populations are considered. German social anthropology established remarkable recent changes of physical type when rural Westphalian populations merged in urban milieus. That was researched until the 1960s and also for other regions.
I like to encourage everyone that reads this look for the video and watch all 7 parts " What's wrong with Christian Rock "

if these people are from Bolivia, why sing in German?? I'd say Amish but they look like any Germanic person in today's world.. and very nicely dressed and nice building, how much do they do for poverty in Bolivia?? I have family in Bolivia and life isn't always easy but these godly people seem to be living the life.. Danke!
They are Plautditsch (a German dialect) speaking so called "Russian Mennonites" who left their traditional (somehow "Amish like") congregations and became more of less Evangelical. See here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Mennonite and here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plautdietsch_language .
