It is a CRIME what Stellantis has done to the CDJR brands! Carlos Tavares needs to be immediately FIRED & perhaps he warrants to be arrested for his fraudelent behavior!
The criminal UAW is just as bad.
You can file a class action lawsuit against Stellantis and you can also file a lawsuit against your employer under the fair standard labor act,if you would consult an attorney it is within your right.
Carlos said it himself... he's arrogant and he will continue to be arrogant. Europe is like this. They really don't like Americans. I've worked with them for decades.
Where they lost every. "Make and sell "high quality" vehicles customers WANT TO BUY". NOT EVERYBODY WANTS AN EV!!!
Stellantis is forgetting Chrysler and Dodge still have American roots. They need to take it back and give them the boot. This isn’t Europe. Americans like there gas cars and they like them big.

I'm at stellantis assembly plant currently. The morale is extremely low. It's dark times for us workers through no fault of our own.

Europeans trying to force their agenda on a different continent was the worst decision they could’ve made.

@petergersbach7355 I drive them daily at work...yes they are fun...but I dont want them for 3 reasons, in order of importance to me:
#1: nothing beats the experience of driving a car with a manual transmission and an engine with loud exhaust(I daily a manual car, yes, even in traffic, does not bother me)
#2 charging takes too long (yes this could be fixed eventually, but is not at the moment)
#3 cars with good range are way too heavy (also could be fixed in time with new battery types)
#2 and 3 can be fixed, but #1 can not. btW, I am in my 20s, so you cant say I am some out of touch old person.
Stellantis should be forced to sell CDJR back to America. If they don’t respect NA, then they can get out for good.

The slowdown in EV adoption is a red herring by Stellantis.
The reason sales are in the dumper is runaway pricing, slipping quality, and lack of desirable products (Dodge/Chrysler).
Unfortunately this whole process started years ago under Kuniskas....Tavares is just expediting the process.
In my opinion the big three Really need to lower their MSRPs to what they are really truly worth maybe make just $1000 profit on each car and they really start moving some metal. I mean just look at what Sam Walton did he always said a quick nickel is better than a slow dime.

The UAW wouldn't have gone down this route had Stellantis managed themselves better. Yes, the union isn't making the brightest decisions either, but you can't blame it all on them. Between the insane price cutting that Stellantis has done and their and their dealerships' ridiculous price gouging, they've ended up digging a grave and are close to burying themselves and the workers in it.
Still got 23’s sitting on the lot… looked at a challenger… but dealership still wants a new car price…. Been sitting 2 years… no thanks
i have researched my area and its about the same. They have a few thousand off MSRP for a 2023! I should be able to pick up a scat pack thats a 2023 with a manual trans for under 41K but I cant find any in my area for under 48K. Ridiculous....

Had Carlos kept the V8s, not shot prices into the stratosphere, at least kept the quality on part with what everyone has historically been used to with CDJR, and sssllllooowwwwwllllyyy introduced an EV model here and there without cannibalizing entire brands..... We probably wouldn't all be staring at the Stellantis boat sinking, while on fire, with a bunch of EV batteries melting through the hull and some moron eating cake wiping his face with $100 bills on the deck muttering "this is fine"...
Gas guzzler tax is unconstitutional and forcing ev on people is as well. It can be an option but not a replacement
@@vettesweetnos Yeah, those that have come before us have dumped tea into the harbor over less. I don't mind EVs as an option, which, for some they may actually make sense. To push them on everyone as a replacement for ICE, that's another matter. If Uncle Sam, if it were government's business to begin with, didn't want us burning so much oil, just reining in the EPA alone would do a lot to allow manufacturers to build fuel efficient vehicles again, even ones that actually last. You wouldn't have EPA mandated monster trucks, you wouldn't have vehicles choking on their own exhaust, we wouldn't be burning extra fuel to clean the DPFs that rob us of MPGs to begin with all while injecting DEF in there all in the name of some government agencies ideals that we've not voted for.
Then you have blockheads like Carlos, who are going whole hog on the "agenda" and tanking an entire company as collateral damage..

Don’t forget that the Inline 6 hurricane engine is a “throwaway engine” coined by auto manufacturers. It is designed to last long enough for trade-ins and or when it finally self destructs the car would be tossed out into the crushers. That way auto manufacturers would have continued flow of people trying to purchase cheap crap cars.

Everyone claims to be an expert on the internet. Well, breakdown what a “zipper clause” is. Ask yourself if the contract had one. It’s that simple
"Current market conditions" = we don't have any new cars, EV or ICE, to build or sell.
Sounds to me like Stellantis got the language they needed in the contract. OCMotivator might not like Tavares, but I think he has the upper hand. Fain and the UAW screwed up and they're going to pay for it.
Should it be the other way around UAW should be suing Stellantis for taking jobs out of United States
Note that Chrysler went bankrupt in 2009. Fiat teemed up with the US and Canada governments and the UAW. Fiat bought out the 2 government shares in 2011 and bought out the UAW shares in 2014. Fiat later merged with Peugeot group in 2019. Basically Stellantis acquired a lot of well known brands on the cheap without racking up huge debt.
Without Fiat/Stellantis there would not be any CDJR brands. None of the Detroit 3 have managed to make full BEV at a profit. Stellantis has not tried except for their tiny Fiat 500E in the US. They have more compact BEV cars in Europe.
Stellantis are following Ford and GM by hoping to defer the BEV transition by making hybrids. That might give them another 10 years. Ford is buying carbon emission credits from Tesla to meet the Emission targets at a cost of $2bn. Gas cars only will be phased out by 2035. You´ll be able to buy a second hand one but not brand new.
In the UK this year 22% of all new cars registered must be BEV, hybrids don´t count. If not the penalty is $19,000 per car. Several manufacturers are preregistering new cars then sell them as second hand with only 10 miles on the clock with a $19,000 discount.
BILLIONS invested in EV’s with ZERO to show for it. Absolute corporate malfeasance with zero accountability for the decision makers once again. Blame everyone else yet again while executives make millions regardless of outcome.

Monday last day of the month my local dealer i bought 2 new 2024 vehicles 2024 Durango RT all options 71K sticker after they gave me employee pricing and discounts it knocked 15K off the 2nd a Jeep Rubicon X was 71K sticker they knocked 11K off that but even better they gave me premium pricing for my trade ins.They said they are desperate for used cars! of the 3 days i was in there i was the only one there.

I have worked at Chrysler for 31 years. I have never seen morale so low. Both the Corporation and the UAW are at fault. The Corporation has been mismanaged ever since Sergio left. The steps they are taking to cut production are painful but needed. Of coarse The Union is going to be pissed their numbers. I.E. cash flow is being cut and its out of their control. To Strike now we be foolish. Nothing will be gained. Layoffs will continue until the number of cars sitting on dealers lots drop to a reasonable number.
I can feel the product quality hitting the skids.

Rather than slowly DESTROY this fine American company, wouldn’t it be so much better for Stellantis to simply put it up for sale. Because of the amount of financial destruction that has already occurred, it would now have to be a FIRE sale. The company has lost as much value as has it’s stock.
There are individuals, as well as investor groups that could easily purchase the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, & Ram brand and take it to a profitable position once again.
Otherwise it will become just another Studebaker wreck on the side of the road.
Have watched you for a while and agree with pretty much everything you say! But… could you make a video on ram prices! I just went in to buy a Kia and left with a ram lone star for 34,000. I just got in auto trader and saw that many nice rams where selling in the low 30s. Ram prices are going down and I don’t see anyone reporting on it!!!

So after a brief fling with a Z06 C8 I finally fulfilled a dream. Always wanted a Ferrari with an eye slanted towards Lamborghini, then did research and figured Lamborghini is better overall. No games to play

US NHITSA stats show BEV least likely to catch fire, gas cars next best worst are hybrids due to complexity of 2 engines in one car.

It is happening! I knew that the UAW and Stellantis would eventually headbutt each other. I think the UAW is in the right, since Stellantis got the UAW peeved!
Do you blame either of them ???? I don't, the UAW wanted the $$$$ Well with that comes higher production costs now that gets rolled over to the consumer. Then the consumer can no longer afford to buy the product then Stellantis starts to cut fat wherever possible because they know it is financially unsustainable to support the UAW and their demands. This is happening in almost every manufacturer right now.
That's not how it pay n profit and staying in business works. Corporations are very greedy ,yes they have to pay the investors but people should be treated with dignity if they are willing to work hard for any employer or corporation. The issue I have experienced both with or without unions is greed, politics ,favoritism, corruption and the like. The prices on everything were driven sky high post COVID on everything,now their trying to bring stuff down without hurting a stocks value which means the common worker takes the cut! It shouldn't be this way it all can't be purely extreme profit. My father used to say I bought my workers lunch, I gave them a bonus out of our earnings as long as we profit we share and they show up ready to work this is what good management and good workers sign up to do! Honest day pay for honest work were not teaching our children this.
