The next big problem with anti doping is going to be the people with money fighting the charges with a mountain of paper work and the authorities caving in because of their costs and the attention it brings. Already happened in cycling so there will be a knock on affect.
Yes. Testing is expensive according to USAT and IM. I have had numerous conversations with IM reps and USAT reps. Frustrating for clean athletes on the podium but not on top. IM reps told me that testing is done when a person rats out a competitor. I know of a couple guys that have been tested. Both were negative as I would expect for them. I think age group winners should be tested at championship events. So I did hear a rumor that a past IM pro winner tested positive and was told to retire instead of being busted. Not sure if there is any truth to that story. The biggest cheating I have seen over the decades is bike drafting. Especially fast age group women sitting on a guy's wheel. FYI, boosting blood count via elevation training/living or elevation tent use is not a banned activity. Micro-dosing is probably the norm in the professional peloton and probably by some triathletes. Eat clean, race clean, live clean.
If my job involves having to travel around the world and compete in order to determine who's the best at swimming, cycling, and running over long distances, bring me the PEDs and electric motors.
Loves the last few seconds... on how to avoid being tested.... priceless.
Great video thanks for this. You answered a lot of things I was wondering.
Do bears crap in the woods?

Their negative tests don't mean they're clean
