I wrote up the pattern for anyone interested. I'm thinking of using this for an afghan for my niece. Checkered vines pattern by Knit With Me from UA-cam Setup: 24 row repeat, multiples of 14 + 7 (+ 2 edge stitches) Notes: 1st stitch in each row is slipped as if to purl. Pattern begins with ribbed motif on Row 1. Video shows a 1:1 rib of about an inch prior to pattern. Sl = Slip as if to purl M3 = Make 3 stitches in 1 - K1, YO, K1 in same stitch Row 1: Sl1; **RIB: *YiF (will create YO), Sl1, K1* x3, YiF, Sl1; LEAF: *K2, M3, K1, M3, K2*;** (repeat motifs to last stitch), K last stitch Row 2: Sl1; **RIB: *K2tog, P1* x3, K2tog; LEAF: P2, SL 7 sts, P2;** (repeat motifs to last stitch), P last stitch Row 3: Sl1; **RIB: *YiF, Sl1, K1* x3, YiF, Sl1; LEAF: (like a 2:3 cable in back) Sl next 2 sts onto cable needle (or work cable needle-less as in video) and move to back of work.
