Thanks for your video here. I moved into rings summer 2023, when I started my small business. My dad always used a daytimer, the itsy-bitsy one that he would keep in his pocket. So many memories of him losing his planner😂!! One time, he went all the way back to Kyle Field, where Texas A&M played just to look for it. one time we found it in the garbage outside. He was so relieved when we found it ❤. I do like the daytimer “page a day” set up, reminds me of him to use these😊. I think I like rings because… I don’t have to be perfect in them. I did bullet journaling for several years, but I think it took more time to set it all up. My daughter is an amazing artist, and does these beautiful bullet journal pages, but my pages never look like hers😂.
So good Ye, thanks for sharing. I have been 90% digital planning since late 2022 but recently switched back to mini HP discs but built my own system with printables. I always start with the bujo basics, future log, monthly log, weekly log and daily logs. So far it’s working nicely for me. But I am a serial paper planner hopper so time will tell if I manage to stick with it for an extended period of time. Take care xx
Recently bought a a5 binder for planning and im wondering which paper will get the same feel as the tomoe river paper when using a fauntain pen. Ever since i bought a 2023 Hobonichi cousin 2 days ago, I’ve been addicted of it. I’m planning on using the paper for printing out templates for the binder.
Did you have to “train” it to lie flat when open? I love the Holborn layout, and was curious because I’d ordered one a couple months ago and it was so unbelievably stiff 😅 I ended up sending it back…I may have ended up with a bad one?

Ahh thanks for sharing! That’s exciting to build something of your own though!
The Holborn is soooo goooood 😍 I have the pocket and personal sizes and am thinking about getting the A5 eventually 👀
Ooo how do you like the pocket?? I keep thinking about it but think the rings might be too small?
I agree I bought a Malden last year and I think the leather is kinda pooey. But I bought a Holborn pocket this year and am obsessed with it !! ❤
Yesss! I’ve been thinking about the pocket Malden too! Do you find the rings big enough?
Was your holborn always kinda of stiff? I got mine from Amazon and it’s super stiff
Hmm I didn’t find that with mine! Maybe your just needs some time to train it?
Hello! What is the channel that you said heavily inspired your journaling section?
Amandaleighplans has some great journaling pages!

It’s not exactly the same, but Kokuyo KB 64GSM paper is printer friendly and thin and smooth
@@waggermama this been in my cart for a while. Since its thin, I will have enough space to add more pages on my planner.

Hmm really?! I didn’t have an issue at all with mine, it lay flat as soon as I put everything in!
Ooh I’m so happy to hear that! I may need to order it again 😊
Who are Lindsey and Megan?
Lindsey scribbles and Meghan Rhiannon here on UA-cam!
@@MomYePlans Thanks. I limit who I follow so I don’t get sucked into FOMO 😁
