Now I wish you could strip all that chorus off the guitar and remix the entire song with a louder vocal track. I would like the song a lot more that way. Hearing Sting's solo vocal track is more stunning than I expected. It should be way more up front in actual song... and the guitar with less FX. I may try going my own mix of it using Audacity. Mostly I would just love a version with that vocal track more dominant. Thanks for the insights... or rather the inhears!
Blasphemy. This is a classic #1 Hit. Nothing wrong with the original Mix. Summers recorded his guitars wet, so zero chance of removing the Flanger anyway.

It's actually a few different parts playing in harmony, so some of the chorus is natural.
