Listening to these isolated tracks it’s clear that George isn’t just doubling John’s primary guitar part for most of the song. George’s part adds volume and depth with his fills. This makes the sound much less one-dimensional. Even when they play the same notes (as in the turnaround at the nd of each verse) the different tones of John’s Casino and George’s SG really adds punch to the part. A lot of people payed attention to this. Tom Schulz used layers of guitars playing the same (or almost same ) parts to achieve the same effect in his Boston recordings. Rick Beato’s video on “More Than A Feeling” really does a good job of deconstructing that. Cheers!

Yeah, this bass part is so atypical. As a bass player myself I finally get to hear all the notes Paul stuck into a basic rock and roll type song. And I can confidently say I would never play this song the way he did.

It's only John playing both guitars in this songs, Rhythm and Lead guitar. George did not participate.

So how are these tracks being lifted from the Abbey Road Archives ? Love it : is anyone going to get busted for this ?

No one accessed the original multi track tapes ,it's an EQ extraction with the audacity sound program ,it's a lie and click bait to say these are "isolated " tracks that have spread like wildfire on dozens of bands
THE ONLY TRUE ISOLATED TRACKS FROM A MULTI TRACK TAPE IS THE 4 SONGS FROM LED ZEPPELIN 2 THAT CAME OUT ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO.
EVERY INSTRUMENT IS ON A SEPARATE TRACK ,AND GUITAR OVERDUBS HAVE A LEAD IN AND LEAD OUT SO THE OVERDUBS CAN BE FADED GENTLY INTO FINAL MIX

John Lennon "pinched" the intro to "Revolution" from Pee Wee Clayton's "Do Unto Others".
I've always loathed the "Chairman Mao" third verse!
Lennon should have stuck with the Esher Demo and repeated the first verse!
Nice Lead Guitar by George Harrison and Electric Piano by Nicky Hopkins!!!
Nice Drumming provided by Richard "Ringo Starr" Starkey!!!

That cymbal sounds really bad, like a student line cymbal of the day. Maybe a Zyn. It's perfect in the full mix though. The wood beater is cool. You can hear the double bouncing of it which is so hard to NOT do with wood.

I think that’s his 20” A Zildjian or maybe his famous 18” though to me it sounds bigger/heavier. Then it’s getting pumped through the Fairchild to give it that whoosh roar. I think it sounds excellent
