Etter å ha sett denne videoen så er det helt klart at noe må gjøres for å rette ut gamle veier. Det ser ut som om da de bygde disse veiene var drita fulle hele tiden

How many people realized that all those sticks along the road were put there as aiming points for the snowplows in winter?
Without them it would very often be impossible to figure out where the road is supposed to go, when everything is covered by a meter or two of new snow.
In areas with even more wintertime snow they have to use differential GPS in order to control the snow removal gear at the 10-cm required accuracy.

How is this place in terms of traffic police presence and speed cameras?

0:59 sign says "no overtaking" and speed limit 50 kmh. If caught by the police this driver would get a hefty fine.

0:59 No overtaking, is this person so stupid?
Thanks for sharing this wonderful pictures. Norway is a so beautiful country.
Keep on trucking and drive carefully
    Paul

The signs in 0:42 and 1:10 say it has happened in an overtaking-forbidden-zone.

It is somewhat risky due to the turn in front of them being obscured. It's not just the sign, but also the road marking. The yellow lines in the middle are long to indicate that it's not safe to pass other vehicles.
Nullik, you can do whatever you want but the traffic laws are there to conserve your life and others, and if you get caught by the police breaking them you WILL face hefty fees and possible loss of your license. People who think like you are one of the reasons why we have traffic accidents.

@Gus Erland Not sure if joking or not :v

@Gus Erland I get it. You're saving the joke excuse in case somebody shows you wrong.
Your comment fails given the context here. Traffic laws exist as a set of uniform language that all drivers must know, to ensure the safety of everyone on the road.
If everyone speaks the same language, then everyone can understand each other on the road, and in turn reduce the amount of accidents on the road.
Yes, nothing happened in this instance, but the fact remains that he passed in an illegal stretch and could have caused a traffic collision if circumstances were different, where another car in the opposite direction could come at any time outside of their field of view, with not enough track to brake and nothing but off-road to avoid it.
IF a traffic accident DID happen in that instance, the *entire* fault would be on the car making the illegal pass, and any reparation would be on them, and they would be subject to the full force of the law.
The traffic laws aren't there for fun, they are there to ensure safe traffic. If lawbreakers aren't punished, they will do it again and again. The punishment is there to deter traffic accidents.

I drove from Geilo to Eidfjord in September, 2015 through this beautiful pass on Hardangervidda, which is one of the national scenic routes. My blog with a lot of pictures bbs.wenxuecity.com/norwaytravel/488759.html
