For anyone willing to change the days /= months bug themselves: In FieldLease.lua, line 61, replace "MessageType.DAY_CHANGED" with "MessageType.PERIOD_CHANGED" This is most definitely a bug, not by design, because the UI screen already has the functionality to display the correct cost PER DAY, regardless of the length of the month.

I you are playing 28 day months just change the "Field lease _multiplier" in, " Field lease\gui \ in game menu field lease\ LUA\ Field lease _multiplier" . It is currently set at .02 Change to .01 or even .002 ( suggestion )
The 1% per day kills the profitability. I have kept the 10% at the start but then changed the daily fee to 0.01% which is more reasonable to real life.
There is also a fix I can't find the reference to now but effectively you change the LUA for the lease from DAY_CHANGED to PERIOD_CHANGED, leases will only be charged at the start of a new month.
this is interesting, at a 6 day year.... this land rent costs 2911$ per acre. yes i converted from ha. im gunna try it..and im gunna see by selling wheat cash crop if this pays. lol ive found a few money traps were in using a calculator before hand theres a few things that either would have cost me money or broke even. thanks for the review mate.
It's disappointing that this mod doesn't scale for different month lengths. I'm one of the few who enjoys playing on 28 day months and I've always enjoyed leasing fields, especially large multi million dollar fields that would take years of saving to being able to purchase the field as well as expand my equipment appropriately. The option to lease it makes it much more viable as I can sink the majority of my capital into expanding my equipment to deal with the extra land and use the revenue earned from that land to eventually buy the field outright in a much more efficient manner than trying to outright save to buy it.
Does anyone know if this is lease to own? If the amount you pay each day for a certain number of days reaches the value of the farm will you own the farm?
I was having some issues with this mod, spending an insane amount on misc. expenses, so I had to do some testing. What I found was shocking. IF... you start a lease on a 1 day month (the date says Aug, not Aug 1) and then switch to multi-day months, the cost/day will automatically adjust to the right daily rate. A lease started on a 1 day month with a $400 daily lease cost switched to a 4 day month will switch to a daily lease cost of $100. IF... you start a lease on a multi-day month, the daily lease rate will MULTIPLY!!! A $400 daily lease cost on a 4 day month will charge $1600, times 4 days per month, an actual monthly cost of $6400!!! Just thought it was worth sharing.

I like the concept, but I agree that it should be charged per month rather than per day.
