Facts
Usually when they reject an easy kill its something about you that makes them see you as human. Something you said something about you made them turn on their humanity. Which is far and few between. She was very lucky he saw her as something special.
IDK, from what I have read serial killers are like "they wanted to be kilt".

the funniest part is her assessment about how GREAT everything was and they had SUCH a connection. i'm thinking her assessor might be a bit busted.

Honestly , it’s comments like these that make me think he’s got huge potential . Most guys in comedy are just comics , they tell jokes which is fine . But , the guys that reach the next level bring a lot of humanity to their performance.
He has a lot of great public speaking moments in a bunch of his stand-up. It’s one of the reasons he’s one of my favorites. He makes you laugh AND he makes you think.
My Russian teacher had a great, but dry, sense of humor. However, she hadn't learned that the TSA do not have a sense of humor, dry or otherwise. It took some explaining when they asked her what was in the bag, and her response was, "Exactly one bomb."

I knew, too. I’m just surprised the guy couldn’t tell from the look on her face what it was-cos you know she knew. Not making judgments, but if she wasn’t embarrassed there was no reason to lie.
He is such a gem of a human. Love the jokes, but it's the insight and commentary on humanity that makes it so good.

I remember when Eddie Murphy first appeared on SNL. I said, "This guy's gonna be a star." Last year, when I first saw Josh on YT, I said the same thing. Just you wait. This guy's gonna be a star. I rarely get that feeling.

He better! He's always has something fresh. I have loved comedy for decades and watched a lot of comedians make it milking two hours of material for their entire career. Can't do that anymore 😅 and this kid is on top of it.

I recommend the book Lies My Teacher Told Me, it talks about how we do ourselves a disservice by sanitizing our heros.

Yeaah he really popped in the last two years and came into his own.. owning his shit, talkin about anything and everything comfortably with nice deliveries.. it almost seems like improv now. Movin away from the shy role, it feels he knows he can get a crowd to laugh and is good at his craft. He got some good potential if he keeps goin like this, hoping the fame doesn't affect him too much.

oh god, i was at this taping, and when i tell you my stomach was hurting from laughter and my face was in a smile for that whole last bit. for sure one of the best sets i've seen live, and i damn sure would love to see him again.

I had a pocket knife fall into a box of band-aids in my backpack. I couldn't find it for like a month, but then I went through TSA and they found it.
I got through tsa with a box cutter one time and hair cutting scissors another time and both times I didn’t realize it until after.
I kinda believe that eventually everyone will have a "this you" moment and they won't be a big deal anymore.
I hope not. I hope people will learn to keep their "this you" moments private from jump. Everyone doesn't need to see your whole life.
@@MilkyWhite1 well, when I was in college it was right when social media was forming. I started the year after Facebook was created and you still needed a .edu account to get on. I went to the college parties and even remember being “tagged” in a picture of me dancing, “twerking”, at a party. It wasn’t something I posted of myself. Back then it was just friends from the same school interacting with each other. I don’t have any shame about that, but I can see his point. It’s like you have a separate side from your educated and professional side and you don’t want to conflate the two.
That level of self awareness on a societal level would be a literal utopia. We aren’t making it that far

Back in the early days of TSA cracking down (I’m old), they just kept trying to confiscate my Lancôme mascara, Clinique face cream, and Lancôme juicy lip glosses. I don’t wear much makeup, but I still splurge on these items once a year. Like one good mascara, two juicy tubes, and a large thing of face cream. Funny how nobody ever tried to take my miracle whip foundation😂

He expected a certain pattern of behavior from her, and she didn't display it. Some pattern that is his trigger. I don't really know anything about his case, but I do understand aberrant psychology. When she didn't exhibit the pattern, he couldn't dehumanize her completely. For whatever reason, she didn't fit in the mental stereotype that he had constructed to represent his victims and in some twisted fashion allow him to rationalize what he was doing. I don't know if he had a history or rejection, but it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe he didn't receive the rejection he expected, and that rejection was what it took to trigger his violent reaction. Like the proverbial dog that catches the car, he didn't know what to do, so he just let her go.
Anybody who can handle that kind of power, I will follow them anywhere. I respect a kitty that doesn't get destroyed by that kind of action.
Most guys are threatened by them. Smh. That’s a hard act to follow.
I hope whoever it was in the TSA line is also a comedian and we'll get to hear this story in another set 😂

i think about this a lot, the effect of adolescence and early adulthood being public. it’s scary but i think the only end result can be more acceptance. because everyone is online so no one is exempt. in 3 decades there will be no one alive who didn’t grow up online.
