Fun video. Before I got my 2022 NC I had a Goldwing Non-Tour and before that an Africa Twin. All DCT. Of the 3 bikes, I prefer the NC. The Goldwing was the most comfortable. The Africa Twin a great bike but really tall. Still making mods to my NC trying to make it more comfortable. That includes adding lower pegs, adding bar back risers , Oxford heated grips, Givi windscreen and eventually a taller more comfortable seat. But from day 1, I found the NC the most fun to ride and the most versatile. Probably my last bike (of course, I tell my wife that with every bike I buy).
any advice you have on the DCT Africa twin? I love the NC so much, I have no plans to get rid of it. I might just get another dual sport on the side so I don't have to worry about it to much off road. I love the NC so much I don't wanna drop it, lol
@@adventureundone The Africa Twin is a great bike and would do well on long trips including cross country or around the world type journeys. For me it was just too tall and I would not hae been comfortable in "tricky" off road situations. If I was going to add a dual sport I would opt for a small bike a CRF 450 or even CRF250. Pretty much could go anywhere then and still have the NC750X for all other riding.
I absolutely love my NC750x DCT. Previous bike was a super sport touring. Heavy and beautiful. The NC750X is much lighter. The ride is relaxing and exhilarating… depending on how I want to ride that day…And I don’t miss the shifting.
I bought my 2020 NC 750xDCT in Central Mexico where I live, my first bike with a dual clutch transmission, and its a joy to ride, its comfortable and ideal for touring with its upright riding position, is extremely reliable, super economical and relatively inexpensive for a mid range dual sport bike. My only negative is that its a little on the heavy side. I'm a senior rider and no longer need buckets of power or the need to compete with sports bike riders and this bike will likely see me out until I cock my toes. Very happy and I love the fact that I no longer need to manually shift gears when riding.
I wonder if they make a collapsable or qick detachable tall windscreen. That way when you are going down trails and stuff you don't have to worry about breaking it again.
@@Motocampster lol, not missing anything. I have contact info on my main UA-cam channel/website (The Techne) hit me up though there, and we gotta ride.
Congratulations!🏆🍾 ... so we share same passion✌ ... it is a great innovative bike🏅 - also for touring!🌅 ... I wish you an exciting and safe bike-season 2022!🐖🍀🏍 ... Greetings and best wishes from Austria🍺
nice storage room but the lower seat gives less leg room or are both pegs lowered also ?? 6' tall and bent legs like a motorcycle; is not comfy. I sat on a cb500x today and needed 3" higher; to handle my foot on brake position. OR. a 3" higher seat !! Other that than the 500x is about the same; but lighter, cheaper by 3500.00 usd.
Currently it seems the 500x is out of stock with long waiting lists in every place I have looked around the US. Which is why I may have to get the nc instead.
I would Advise anyone that wants to Tour on any Bike to have a Small Air Compressor and Plugging Kit Onboard at all times--a Flat Tire in middle of the Boonies is not good...
What do you think about the poor tyres Dunlop D609 that NC750X has when is new? They're very dangerous and they wear off quickly! Thanks and bye, Luca.
"Dct is just a scooter"... Well they got the definition of scooter all wrong. It's like saying an automatic car is a metro just because it hss no clutch... Nonsense. If they can do the laundry on a machine why don't they do it by hand, what about blending fruits on a blender....
I'm glad you do this style of content I watched similar content a while back but they stopped doing youtube Edit:Do you plan on continuing doing E-Bike content or is that done with Adventure Undone
On the off-road side of things the DCT would be far too imprecise for my liking. There are times when you need to finesse the clutch just right under certain situations and the "lag" in the DCT would be problematic.

How did you added lower pegs? It was a DIY or did you bought some kit ? Thank you !

yeah same here, it is such a versatile bike. love it

Did your bike ever on cold start, stopped right before turning it on, then start normal on second go?
Can you post a link for that storage bag on the back seat? It's pretty cool.
Can you put a link to the rear bag on the bike?
Купил себе такой же в 2021, отличный мот. Жду сезона, у меня ещё снег не начал таять. Россия. ЯНАО.
cool
Great video, I would like to come down and ride that area.
I'm really interested in getting a dct version of the 750...is this wind visor set up actually worth it
We're did you get your riding clothing. Like the riding jacket.
Best regards, from Brazil. I'll take mine 2022 nc750x, next week.
I wonder if they make a collapsable or qick detachable tall windscreen. That way when you are going down trails and stuff you don't have to worry about breaking it again.
They do, but I don’t plan to get wild like the 300
Frunkin good video...I love my nc750x dct...its everything I want.
I see what you did there, lol good one!
“It’s just a scooter” sounds like a compliment to me, who’s thinking about trading in a Burgman 400 maxi-scooter for an NC750 DCT…
I think I passed you the other day I'm on a blue Honda ctx 700 dct anyways it's good to see another DCT on the coast
ehhh lets ride man!

What jacket are you wearing?
Another awesome video bro.
Thank you so much
read is not for all helmets ?>? just L, not xl, 2xl size. Confirm >? or depends on model I guess
Those windshield riser clamps are a distraction. I can't imagine riding with that.
horrible windshield..........
I honestly don't notice them at all

Don't understand how you Tolerate that Windshield Extension, the Clips are Very Annoying to your View of what is in Front of You...
We do t have it in Australia 🇦🇺 the DCT!
Grr❤️🇦🇺🙏
I would get the manual version of this bike
Can you speak about the suspension? Ive seen reviews where people hate the suspension and others that dont even mention it. What are your thoughts?
it's solid on road, but any off road even mild, it bottoms out very easy and you feel it

I like them on road, but off road they are no good
You can drive it while raining? If so how do u keep ur clothes and urself dry

Because they need something to make them feel like more of a man
Great bike. I'd take the screen off. I like wind.
I hate wind, lol
Find an older NC750S

thank you so much, and yeah I still plan on some electric bike vids. None in line as of now, but maybe in the future
You think this is a good 2 up bike? I'm about 5'8 190 my wife is about 100 soak and wet haha.
On the off-road side of things the DCT would be far too imprecise for my liking. There are times when you need to finesse the clutch just right under certain situations and the "lag" in the DCT would be problematic.
you can manually change gears with manual mode by using the paddle shifters
Had to stop watching those two clips or bugs on windshield taking away from video
yeah I agree, they are annoying after some time. I have removed them now
The HD Nightster has just been released. I think this is a much better bike at $5K less
DCT is not a scooter. Any basic engineering knowledge would help define that lol
