I’ve never tried but from what I’ve heard they do grade. Generally I use MS70 on coins not worth submitting for grading (like circulated proofs or proof coins affected by the flexible plastic packaging
Why oppose in restoring your coins? Coin dealers does it, they don't want you to know their secrets, that's a fact. They also sell MS 70, Conserv, and others they use to do this. Don't clean or restore your coins? It's done everyday by them.
Ezest is the way to go. But 3 out of 10's gona be ruined take your own risk. Copper is 50 50 silver only on UNC with a few dirt and oils.other than that. It wont clean oxides
I've had coins graded that were cleaned with Ezest. Not one of them came back as cleaned. But I can't speak for MS70. I DON'T recommend you clean any coins of high value.
I asked a few collectors who have submitted ms70 cleaned coins for grading. Depending on how you apply MS70 they don’t get flagged. Meaning allowed to soak and the rinse not rubbed
Here is the link to the PCGS price guide: www.pcgs.com/prices
The coins as you mentioned are nice appealing sets. Good job. There are buyers for everything. You should not have a problem selling them. Take care.
Thanks!
Here's the big question. Would you use ms70 on coins you want to get graded by NGC or pcgs.????
I wouldn’t take the risk
As far as I know, MS70 and Coin Cair are perceived normally when grading. I personally covered copper coins with coin cair and they were graded NGC.
Sometimes they slip by
I have a '61 Franklin exactly like yours, but wondering if I should let NGC/PCGS clean it up instead?
Depends on your goal. Keep or sell
@@TheCollectorOfCoins I want to sell! But for the right price..
I’d leave it alone unless it was a proof with finger prints
@@TheCollectorOfCoins Thanks 👍
So how did they grade after the ms70?

It really depends on the coin.
Exactly....
You can pay PCGS to do it.

Great points. I generally use this on impaired proof coins
It took some luster off on the quarter
That’s right… cleaning removes the natural luster. There is a trade off between eye appeal (which is subjective) & luster

@@TheCollectorOfCoins Just like you mentioned. I think the key is...don't rub!
