I’m a huge WW2 buff but have never played an RTS. I did play Red Alert/Aftermath in the 90’s but that’s it. Anyways, this is my first and I’m loving it. The attention to detail in terms of equipment, gear and vehicles is second to none. Every battle has the appropriate equipment down to the unit symbols and stencils. I was extremely impressed with that and it makes it such an incredible world to visit.

OH MY GOD, THIS GAME LEGITIMATELY SIMULATES YHE INDIVIDUAL SHELLS POPPING OUT THE GUNS, SHELLS ARE LEGITIMATELY SEPERATE PHYSICS BASED OBJECTS THAT DONT DESPAWN, THEY PILE UP, I LOVE THIS GAME

34:19 - The reason the crew took cover on the gun is because it was damaged and needs to be repaired. When you click on the support weapon it will show damaged areas in red.

Looks good this. will have to check it out. tid bit of info. Historically, the germans peppered the KVs , and T34s with as many shots as they could, sometimes even raw HE as opposed to HEAT. and got the soviet crews to abandon their monsters xD thanks for playing n sharing!

You could have used the talk crews in the building to drive that captured Russian tank with the German flag on top, right? If you do it at the start you have one added tank, if I got it right.
I need to know, will this game be on a large scale or be the same as everything else ? i mean of course small scenarios but big scenarios with 100's of infantry and 20-30+ possible tanks too ?
I think using the air & spotters much sooner is the key ,try keeping your tanks back as long as possible.?

This game looks amazing and solid, but is it fun though? Just asking opinions, I'm considering jumping in. Does it feel like micro managing that heavy takes away the fun or not?
As someone who has played MOW basically the precursor to this game it is really fun. You get put in very interesting positions where you can be scrambling to try and control everything and survive. Defense is harder by far when attacking you can go at your own pace. For good quality rts content I would not watch raptor he isnt a very good strategy player I find I watch him more for city building style games. If you wanna see some good gameplay that makes it alot less daunting looking look up shermanator. The microing is really fun to be honest and you can also manually control specific players. The issue with raptor is he doesnt setup his defenses well enough so he gets absolutely rolled and it becomes more chaotic. For example if I was playing this I would have been moving my armour to face the armour threat instead of leaving it in the same spot the whole time. This would mitigate him losing infantry and his flak 88s. Once he let them run over his flak 88 on his NW flank it lead to all his infantry getting rolled there. If he would have moved his pz4 he could have protected his flak and survived better. Also you can commandeer downed tanks so if he wanted to take a knocked out enemy tank and repair it he could have gathered more armour. Also he doesnt understand how to rearm things and he should have been moving ammo boxes to his flak 88s so they didnt get knocked out. He could also manually control his flaks and tanks to take out enemy armour quickly. If you like ww2 or strategy games and have some level of understanding of how to control military units youll have fun. Also when they full game comes out non campaign quick battles either against bots or ai are really fun! Defense can be the hardest part for new players!

Also, it would be good if you done a novice, starter tutorial but with decent tips and guidance in your normal way. This.is a game that is in depth and will take a noob like me a while to learn.

Usually it contains role specific items and can be driven around. But, does not provide anything extra.

You can pause, slow down, or speed up time. Is that what you mean?
@@Raptoria Active pause (or tactical pause) = you can order your units while on pause. Great for synchronizing large attacks and movements, it helps to micromanage your units, handle several hot spots at the same time, etc.
A great feature for slow people and control freaks like me :-) (Also I don't like to play in slow mode)
I finished this mission with only two surviving soldiers in a kv tank
And im not a fan of scripted battles
