[EN] Vaison-la-Romaine is located approx. 30 km north-east of Orange, on the river Ouveze. It is divided into two parts. The first is a medieval old town from the twelfth century, situated on a hill. The second part lies below the hill and it is a "new town", but also contains a very interesting monuments from the Roman period.

[FR] Vaison-la-Romaine se trouve à env. 30 km au nord-est d'Orange, sur la rivière Ouvèze. Il est divisé en deux parties. La première est une vieille ville médiévale du XIIe siècle, situé sur une colline. La deuxième partie se trouve en dessous de la colline et il est une «ville nouvelle», mais contient également des monuments très intéressants de l'époque romaine.

[PL] Miasto Vaison-la-Romaine jest położone ok. 30 km na północny-wschód od Orange, nad rzeką Ouveze. Jest podzielone na dwie części. Pierwsza z nich to średniowieczne stare miasto z XII wieku, znajdujące się na wzgórzu. Druga część leży poniżej wzgórza i jest to "nowe miasto", choć zawiera również bardzo ciekawe zabytki z czasów rzymskich.

To visit/see: la cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth, le château des Comtes de Toulouse, Cathédrale Sainte-Marie-de-l'Assomption de Vaison-la-Romaine, Chapelle Saint-Quenin, Chapelle des Pénitents blancs, Gallo-Roman Ruins, Roman Bridge.

Stara część jest zdecydowanie atrakcyjniejsza. Piękne i do tego stare zabudowania robią wrażenie. Zastanawia mnie co to za biała budowla na górze na 2:13.Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
Zgadzam się z Tobą w zupełności - średniowieczna część jest bardziej interesująca i ciekawsza. A ta budowla to maszt telekomunikacyjny na najwyższej górze Prowansji - Mont Ventoux (mam o tej górze oddzielny film: ua-cam.com/video/aehmQajwhw4/v-deo.html). Ta góra jest widoczna z bardzo wielu miejsc, nawet odległych o kilkadziesiąt kilometrów. Pozdrawiam!
