    I ve watched several people in trying to learn the 3 string and nowing nothing about music besides a radio knob . Chicken bone john has taught me more in his videos than any others . Thank you for helping me getting my rhythm right Boy :)

    You have changed everything for my playing! I never thought I would be able to play blues, but this has helped even my 6 string playing!!
    Thank you for sharing and making this so easy to understand.!

      That's good to know, thank you for the kind words. It's stuff that I've absorbed over the years, and what I was taught by some great players, by watching their live performances and then learning in small "masterclass" workshop groups with them. It's easy for me to forget that this didn't just happen for me, I worked on it, and so I need to work on things a little bit to spread the message.

    Another great session John, my problem is as hard as I try I have never been able to create a true bar, I have tried using different fingers and have put loads of practice time, can you help?

  • @wizardwillbonner
    @wizardwillbonner 3 роки тому

    John as always, you inspire me not to give up so damn easy because I can't get it in 5min of practice. My left hand doesn't work as well as it should because of nerve damage, I don't have the finger strength or speed that I need to press the strings. Do you have any suggestions on what to do? Thank you for all you do.

    • @ChickenboneJohn

      Try this, if you haven't already seen it. Playing lap style is a viable alternative. ua-cam.com/video/_u9LNMmI13A/v-deo.html
