- This is an easy to follow tutorial on creating some mind bending shapes with beautiful color effects in Adobe Illustrator. Really simple techniques, so you can do this tutorial even if you're inebriated! It's easy, I swear. We make some colors, draw some shapes without having a plan, and then get serious and follow about 4 or 5 steps to create a beautiful geometric, glowing neon design that you can post to your insta and people will think you're deep. #IllustratorTricks #GeometricArt #IllustratorTutorial

The tilde trick just blew my mind!
Ok, I can't duplicate that by holding down the tilde. I wonder what I'm doing wrong...

Question: Does anyone know the Photopea equivalent of the tilde key effect?
Thanks for the tutorial! Tilde is only accessible through AltGr + a key, so it's not working with my laptop (belgian french keyboard).

Great tutorial. When I go to copy the desing and change the stroke to white it only makes the original hexagon white and not the rest of the desing. I can't figure it out. Help Please? Thanks.
Hmm that's interesting. You may be selecting it with the direct selection instead of the selection tool? Or you've already expanded the graphic and ungrouped it somehow? I'm not exactly sure. But you could also just take that white original shape and apply the same transform effect you previously applied. Hopefully that helps. Let me know! Thanks for watching.

i cant find the tilde key on my belgium keyboard anybody where i can find it ??
I'm not sure about a belgian keyboard, but it's possible it is the same key to the left of the "1" on your keyboard.
If you do ALT Tilde it centers the design.

Hi Jimena! You can make it move in the transform panel, or you can highlight the entire image and rotate it manually.

What is tilde key
~ is a tilde. It's usually found to the left of the 1 on your keyboard.

@@bibaart Are you holding the key while you apply the shape? I'm not sure of another way to do it, honestly. It's just repeating the shape at the size and angle of your mouse stroke.
