Thanks! I was able to pull out my radio to get the radio serial number and with the serial number ... I was able to get the radio code needed to unlock my radio. You described how to pull out radio perfectly! I normally break fasteners or plastic parts ... but I did not this time thanks to you!

curious what model pilot this is? did you notice any difference in sound quality upgrading the stereo? honda lists my ex-l as 155w system and an aftermarket system is 200w so it should be louder hopefully. my acura tsx was different, factory was 280w and aftermarket stereo only puts out 200w so i had to install an amp.

Hi! I own 2011 honda pilot and decided to put aftermarket stereo now after they install the stereo i noticed when i turn on my parking/headlight my climate control lights are out and my courtesy lights. Is there a way to fix it? Please help

Couldn't you install a single din with 9 or 10in screen? Also if my pilot don't have steering wheel controls I wouldn't need that adapter, right?

not gone lie man i cant remember i did this a long time but im pretty sure that this one did not have the factory sub
I did one myself it got alot of electrical plugs in the back side of the stock radio. Amplifier runs stock speakers and sub. I put pioneer hd 9800 BT and kicker cs 6.5 door speakers jbl tweezers

If you payed attention to the video he clearly says they do not make a double din kit for this vehicle hope this helps

@sport just replace the info screen super easy to do and it cost like $30 on eBay.
Where did you connect the blue wire for the antenna adapter. Did you use the power antenna or amp turn on wire off the aftermarket radio?
Connect all the blues..lol yea I just hooked it to the remote turn on from the radio
I'm planning on getting 09-2011 pilot for the right price fully loaded if I can find one have my eye on two 09's right has GPS and back up would you know how to retain the backup or GPS
Yea so you'll probably loose the GPS so make sure if you swap the radio out you get an aftermarket radio with GPS and i made a video on how to retain your factory back up camera ua-cam.com/video/tB-AWpra_Us/v-deo.html
Does the original screen above the radio show the radio station, volume and all that stuff still?
It likely only will show the compass, time and climate controls after this install

Are those USB ports on the far right of that Pioneer? Does it play mp3 music straight from them? If so, what model is that? You forgot it in your description.
yes 1 usb port and 1 aux port on the side of the radio. it does play mp3 from both. the radio is a pioneer deh-6200
So the aftermarket stereo doesnt show the temp and fan mode?
anyone know do they sell a harness to retain the backup camera or what are the pins and colors to tap into?

never destroy the original harness just for that exact reason
This will only work if your Pilot does NOT have navigation. So far I have not found anything that will work with this model year Pilot with navigation.
