I'm happy for fans of Happy Funland but damn.. It's about four months since Vertigo 2 was released and still waiting for that haptic feedback patch that Perp games said was incoming... Would be nice if the frame rate was sorted too
I like the quick redemption arc this game is on. It's the very definition of a cult title, whereby provided you're here for the journey instead of the gameplay then you'll come away happy. For the work of one person, it's a little marvel that is destined to divide players but will have a dedicated following.
This game is so close to amazing. I’m about 2/3 of the way through and love the atmosphere and it keeps getting better. But yes the first hour and a half is non stop talking (lots of the time with multiple voiceovers you can’t even understand). Other than that I don’t enjoy the combat, I’d much rather have it where you need 3 headshots or something to kill them. Then there is the frame rate. I’m a VR vet and about an hour in I have to Stop because of massive stomach aches. Few small changes and this could be a 9/10 game.
@@Brasslantern007 because it needs a few small changes and fixes to be really great. It’s pretty obvious I was talking about the bones of the game as I mentioned how much I love the atmosphere and idea.
I've finished it in a single run, but of almost 300 games (PSVR1 + PSVR2) that I played, this is one of the few that got me nausea, because of the framerate issues, especially when you turn around (and that's the reason there was no sweet turning at the release, I guess). Anyway the graphics and the settings are very good, let's hope it will became a (good) game someday...
@@Brasslantern007 not even shittin ya. Its got a cool atmosphere, it's not very solid gameplay wise, it's more of an experience. Taken like that, it works.
@@Jammyhero What a shame , never met a non dfr game i was impreressed with visually. Tired of PSVR 2 games not supporting DFR, it's literally it's defining feature.

Beat this game recently & it was a lot of fun. I just wish they would add DFR to it. But still fun.

The controls keep reverting and messing up non stop. I can't play it.
Does this game have dfr? And how good does it look?
i don’t believe so, it looks okay, but with decent shimmering during busy scenes.

Just because you're in VR doesn't mean you have to forcefully talk with your hands.
