I was going to order the Hyperion GTS for plateless training, but then saw how cheap the Hyperion Tempo was, so I’m 2 years behind again. Replace the DS Trainer as primary speed work shoe. I appreciate the update! I would like to see how these three compare to the other two Pro 3’s. But you said you have your pick and I’m just going to wear whatever your rotation is. Can’t wait to update my GT 2000!
Thanks Matt for doing a review for us runners with stability needs, great review. I have found the ASICS Superblast to work for me. How would you compare the Superblast vs the Endorphin Elite in terms of stability?
I’m fitted for the Saucony Guide and ASICS Kayano because I do have stability needs. I’m using the Saucony Speed 3s for racing and so far I love them, the wider base gives them decent stability
Guessing this is coming, but would love to see light trainer/tempo version of this video. As in, the Takumi Sen for the rest of us. Hyperion GTS, I suppose, is partially the answer, but would like some others that are maybe a bit more fun.
I’m a flat footer who has been fitted for stability shoes before, but this year I decided to try out neutral shoes and they’ve all been great! I don’t have any of the shoes in this video, but I have the Endorphin Pro 3 and it has been great! I have been eyeing the Rocket X 2, though. 👀
I have recently bought the Asics GT-1000 12 and its incredible. I need a fair bit of stability, but its is quite light and responsive at the same time.
I have both the gt 1000 and 2000. Bought a second 1000 pair and got a new half marathon pb in them last weekend. The 2000 I use for longruns and the 1000 for racing. Jus tprefer the 1000 because got an injury in the 2000's but maybe because they were new.
Thanks for the Adios Pro 3 shout from last year! Worked a treat and is much better stability-wise for me than my Speed 3's. Really appreciate this content. It helped and I learned a lot from it.
Thank you guys! I went with the Endorphin Elite (Impossible to get your hands on rocket x2, and it has lower drop than all my other shoes), IT IS AMAZING! Like holy hell it is as stable as a stability shoe almost and fast as lightning. I don't know what black magic Saucony used to create that shoe but it is insane, never thought I would get that stable a ride in a super shoe!
I am looking for shoes in this category recently and I live in China, where racing shoes market heats up these years. I just notice that Xstep 160X5 non-pro version looks solid for people who needs stability in racing. It has a midsole cutout on the outside and full support inside with carbon plate extended upwards for additional stability.
Is the Hoka Rocket X2 something i could wear without an orthotic? I have custom made orthotics and usually need at least a 2E width shoe to accommodate the orthotic> Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
Hi Matt! Awesome as always. How do these compare to let's say the Sketchers Speed Beast? I was planning on using that for a marathon. As a flat footed overpronator I have relied heavy on the Tempus (looking forward to V2). But I have the Speed Beast and wanted your thoughts on how it pairs with the ones you highlighted here.
@doctors of running .... are any of these as stable as the Adidas Bsoton 10 or 11? Would you conaider any of these three shoes more stable than the Endorphin Pro 3 or Adios Pro 3? Thanks.
The shoes are so stable, you can stack them up and hold them with one hand, and only look at the camera.

The hoka rocket x2 is the best for my mechanics and never gives up the forefoot cushioning as far as 1/2 marathons..the shoe of the season for me..

I’m loving the 2000-12 if you can get it go for it

Narrow midfoot is still a big issue for those who need a lot of stability.
On behalf on team flatfoot I thank you 🙏🏿
Is it worth comparing the Hyperion GTS with the Tempus?

Is Endorphin Elite more stable than Puma Fast-R?
What do you think about the Saucony Endorphin Pro for a marathon for someone with stability needs?? I also wear custom orthotics for pttd
For context, i currently wear the Brooks Adrenalines with my custom orthotics but feel like they are clunky and can’t really go fast in them
Can you please do a similar review for those of us that walk?
We recommend checking out our guide to running shoes for walking: www.doctorsofrunning.com/2022/06/best-running-shoes-for-walking.html
Doctors of Walking does not roll off the tongue as well...haha

Do you think Endorphin Speed 3's are stable?
Very
