actually..she is one of the few people who actually sang live for this show. she has an amazing talent and can actually handle that. she sounds AMAZING!
this show is brilliant-they had it for two series over here in ireland and i loved it but they fecked up the time slots in the second series and no one watched it anymore!damn tv3-bring it back!!
Except back in 1963-65 or whenever Linda had yet to do the song (1957 by Buddy Holly)! Still good., Loved her in "Aquamarine" & "RV" and her song "A Little too much, a Little too late".
@Jantv81 I think the reason it moved out there was because it was easier to get talent on the show, all the record companies were in California, and the TV networks did all their shows there too.
And her version of "That'll Be the Day" (originally recorded in 1957 by Buddy Holly and his band, The Crickets) was not out until 1976, when she was 30. Her version of "You're No Good" came out when she was 28.
She - then nearly 14 on this show - should have done "You're No Good," because to some critics she's literally just that. They could have hired then 27-year-old Lana Parrilla for this role instead, partly because _she's_ as equally Latina as Linda is, and because at the time she was practically the same age Linda was when her version of the song was released.
@flyseventeenthirtytw I believe it was from Season 3, I really wish the other seasons would be on DVD, NBC really blew it letting this show go. If ABC had aired it, they could've easily moved it to ABC Family for at least 1 more season
LilyRoseTulipDaisy she’s been back for a couple years. she has her most recent album mad love and because her old label took away all her songs from spotify she rereleased her first two albums in december :)
I didn't brand your comment as bad 'cos its in fac a very interesting one, but I totally disagree with that. I think the girl has talent as a soul singer, even when I'm really more into an upbeat R&B tune.
@@buckwheatfried Linda Cardellini is the actress who played Velma in the live-action _Scooby-Doo_ movies, and was also on the TV series _Freaks and Geeks._
I still get chills and I've seen this a dozen times
JoJo did an amazing job that day.....I was there and she was really sweet, too.I miss the show

@Jantv81 I think the reason it moved out there was because it was easier to get talent on the show, all the record companies were in California, and the TV networks did all their shows there too.
Does anyone have the TV Land Awards where AD won the "Future Classic?"
Linda Rondstadt was born in 1946 so in 1960
she would have been 14 etc.....
And her version of "That'll Be the Day" (originally recorded in 1957 by Buddy Holly and his band, The Crickets) was not out until 1976, when she was 30. Her version of "You're No Good" came out when she was 28.
@KingdomKupcake It was a great show but it never really had enough of an audience watching it consistently, and it was expensive to make too.
how do i fnd this episode? or can I? i didnt know she ever acted on anything but those two new movies.
ahh! I

Really good.What can I say.

Buddy Holly - That'll be the day...

AWESOMEE! XD
@Jbirdrules3818 True, it's why I included the "etc...."
Does this show still come on? I don't think I've ever seen it b4?
it was a great tv show! too bad it got cancelled!
Never heard of this show in my life 0.o was it on NBC???
@jennifersman Not only that, but in storyline context Bandstand itself would've moved out to L.A. by then.
It sounded like that guy said "I think Angela's got a little...autistic talent". I was, WTFOMGBBQ
Season 3, the last one
Where did she go? She's such a good preformer!
LilyRoseTulipDaisy she has a new album called mad love
LilyRoseTulipDaisy she’s been back for a couple years. she has her most recent album mad love and because her old label took away all her songs from spotify she rereleased her first two albums in december :)
wat season is this?!
what season is this?
she changed her hair cause de show is like from the 50's its old fashion! :P
Which season was this from?
I didn't brand your comment as bad 'cos its in fac a very interesting one, but I totally disagree with that. I think the girl has talent as a soul singer, even when I'm really more into an upbeat R&B tune.
Whereas Linda Ronstadt was born 7.15.1946.
there was a little tiny bit of stevie wonder in her singing, which makes it not believable
no it got cancelled like 2005 or 2006 :(
How old was she here????? 15-ish? Looks very mature for her age here.....
wow,jojo was awesome!Seriously....
this show was canceled a few yrs ago
It s a Buddy Holly song
Bandstand should have stayed in Philly.
@xoxxkelsxoxx16 "That'll be the day"
woooh...no coment..hehe
lol jo jo can sang her head off and the whole show as lip synced duhhhhh its acting
I repeat, JoJo's role as Linda is "no good." I would have preferred to see Lana Parrilla here instead, and singing "You're No Good."
Lana Parrilla can't sing
@@buckwheatfried What about Linda Cardellini, then - can _she_ sing?
ClassicTVMan1981X I have no idea, I don’t know who she is.
