Dex you have a lot of really smart ideas about customization on your Jeep. I'm almost ashamed that I'm gonna copy so many of these ideas.....almost. Nice job.
MeyouandMaggietoo Thanks for the comment! The whole reason why I share all of these ideas is so that you can use them on your Jeep! Have fun with it and I hope the videos help! Thanks for watching!
Happy Birthday Dex!!! I have to thank you for providing great videos on how to mod my new jeep I got a few weeks ago. I have watched a few other but yours are by far very informative and detailed. I'm just starting to plan out mods. Also tell Oslamp they need another giveaway for poor college students lol....Thanks again Dex
Great job I really like it. Gives me a great idea for my Harley Davidson. Question, could you have wired both with one switch? I realize they'd both activate every time but if you gate and garage door are far enough apart it wouldn't matter. I'd rather have just one button on my Harley instead of two. Thoughts? Hope you still check this.
Dex, your videos are amazing and incredibly clear. I have to be honest, though... I think I am finding the fact that you live in the Bahamas just as interesting as your Jeep videos. I plan to relocate out of the US in about 3.5 years, and I looked into the Bahamas and it was just incredibly unaffordable from what I saw.
Hey AdventureDex, this is an awesome mod! I've been looking for something like this for quite some time. I have a question though, could you explain how you did the wiring for the garage door opener to the momentary switch? It looks like you bought some wiring adapters and I was wondering if there was a 'plug n play' wiring kit I could purchase instead of doing a bunch of soldering. Got any tips?
Thanks Isaac! It all depends on your "gate or garage" clicker. There should be a positive, negative and accessory. Try connect them up and see if it works. Thanks for watching!
+Chris Acevedo Thanks for the comment bro, I actually took the switch and remote to a local computer tech who wired both together for me. It was a little too complicated for me to do as I do not really understand the board that was inside the remote. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the comment Michael! The button is from my wiring harness that control my LED lights. I have since upgrades to a A pillar switch pod! I have a full DIY installation video on my channel! Thanks for watching!
