You can tell you like this airplane and you are sincere about it. I like simplicity and just comparing the start up procedure with another video of a TMB, looks like the M600 is a piece of cake to start. Thanks for the inside preview.
With all the computer integration, if the hypoxia safety system were to activate and initiate an auto descent to 12,000', will the computer also automatically change the transponder to xmit 7700?
@@Allegan49010 According to Aviation Consumer, " Getting to the cockpit and seated takes some doing as the cabin is small and there is a step-over at the entrance. Seating is cramped for anyone over six feet tall." in contrast, Cessna aircraft have great headroom.
Would the Garmin descend the plane into a mountain or is it aware of the terrain and will fly a HDG to avoid it on an emergency (cabin pressure related) type of descend?

@@gbigsangle3044 what are you talking about? You don’t need to have a „good reason“ for declaring an emergency and/or feeling you need to engage that emergency system. The attitude you are suggesting (thinking twice about declaring an emergency or using equipment for emergencies like the CAPS or that autoland) is actually getting people killed all the time.
@@spiller212 You are obviously not a pilot, or if you are have not been flying long. Declaring an emergency has NOTHING to do with surviving a crash landing. Good insight. Thanks immensely.
Fantastic.
What I would do to fly in this plane :-)
The same thing I thought
Nice. A lot slower than the TBM 930, but a lot cheaper.
Both in acquisition cost and operating cost
Nice!
cant hear without full blast

You’ll also need a high altitude endorsement.
Nice bird! How is the fit for taller pilots (6-6)?
Good question, Don: I've heard that the cabin is comfortable but that the cockpit is quite cramped. If true, this is a deal-breaker.
@@robertmcdaniel8147 Being tall is why I flew a C210, very comfortable...

Can the seats be configured with all facing forward?
i don't think so

Nothing avoids terrain except a human. The panel can yell at you and the terrain mapping will color code it for you, but you have to fly the plane.
@@gbigsangle3044 the M600 sls has autoland, so human isn't necessarily required anymore :)

Could A Private Pilot Fly This Plane?
Yes. But you do need to have advanced ratings.
Sure, but this airplane is meant to fly above 18,000ft and for that you will need your instrument rating.
Thanks
CloudStreets you also need a high altitude endorsement
Private with an instrument rating. The plane is meant to fly in the flight levels.
so if you don't respond at 10,000, the phone automatically dials an undertaker?
Now it's 2020 and you can get the autoland system that lands the airplane at the nearest airport.

Overall pretty good -
Cabin Alt 10,000 is an amber Caution - not a warning.
This dude is definitely into splitting.
Price?
Maximilian Mann $1.700.000
You wish it was 1.7M. Closer to 3.1 M new.
$2.853 atm according to the sales guy at Oshkosh. There’s optional extras of course if you have the cash.
You couldn't get a janitor at TBM or pilatus to talk to you for that price. The Piper 500/600 is a steal.

siyu.... You, however made it 100% evident that you are not one at all and will never be. This is a Piper, not a pumped up pipe car. lmao
