I didn't die like like Min did but I had some wake up calls too, I didn't realize how hard people around me were trying while I've had totally given up, I pushed everyone away and blamed life for it. Life still sucks but now I can appreciate people better
yeah when your young, you may blame parents 'why can't I have better clothes, or have things like my friends' or hurt your loved by saying you hate them when they are looking out for you
don't feel guilty about blaming the people around you. sometimes it is them. focus on yourself, make as much money as quickly as you can, and move away from those people. after a year of living far away from them, you'll realize that the problem was those a-holes this whole time.
Pride is the foundation in which we build our Egos upon. It's entirely driven by the Ego. Pride revolves around the self, it's centered on the self. Egotism, narcissism, manipulative, impulsive
The reason we become wrathful, greedy, envious, etc, is simply bcuz things did not go our way
Wrath: The retaliation thru impulsive behavior when we get insulted, offended, rejected, etc. Nothing going our way
Greed: Wanting more. We want things to go our way. When we lose someone permanently, we feel powerless against the very reality we demanded from and tried to bend to our will. Our Egos hurt when it doesn't go our way
Envy: When we're cheated on, betrayed, etc, we hurt bcuz things didn't go our way
Sloth: Lack of Patience and Willpower. Laziness. Quick to anger when things don't go our way. "Impatience is the unwillingness to livelife at the pace it actually happens"
Etc
The only thing that is hurting, is the Ego, the Pride. Pride is absolute self destruction. It's completely pointless. It's the source of all unfit action. Every bad thing we do to ourselves and others, stems only from our own Pride

However, the true opposite to Pride (selfish), is Gratitude (Selfless). "Do not cry bcuz it's over, be happy bcuz it happened" -Dr Seuss (I think?)
Absolute selflessness is the only possible way, logically and morally. For oneself and others. And this movie tells this lesson, very vaguely tho. Total destruction of the Pride, and reconstruction of the self thru humility

Just when I am having the thoughts of committing the unthinkable due to stacked problems, have tried but cannot do it eventually - this movie showed on my yt feed. Guess this is really meant for me to see. I will hold out for more period of time and will try to control what I can control - and then see if there will be better days. I don't think this movie had the greatest message. I don't think things can be solved by telling yourself it's not that bad. Life can be shit, really shit. And I don't know what exactly you're going through. But your want to be gone from it all is justified. The struggles your facing are real, and hard. And you should always feel proud of yourself for still trying. I don't think anyone should make their stuggles illegitimate because they have some happy times too. Things can be shit, and that's okay. Coming from a really bad place, where I felt like I had no future here, like things would just continue to get worse, because they always did. I'm telling you they get better, little by little. It takes time, and just a little bit of effort here and there. Sometimes you stumble and it feels like you're back where you started, or like you haven't gotten anywhere at all. But take some time for self compassion. The compassion you'd have for anyone else if they'd been through what you are. You deserve all the patience, and all the care to get better. Because it will. Know that what has happened/what is happening is shit. But it will get better.
Hold out, then step up and give your problems the finger. You deserve to thrive in this life, to live long and prosper, to find eyes to see all the blessings, and to enjoy the good things that inevitably will come your way.

Yeah the concept has been taken from the movie "Colorful". It's a very meaningful movie. A must watch.
@@taotzu1339 its most likely inspired by colorful though, considering the coincidences like the main character being an artist, and other instances is quite painfully obvious, they just switched it up a bit in some parts which is actually a decent adaptation in my opinion
@@taotzu1339 bruh colorful itself is based on a book by the same name "Karafuru" that came out on July of 1998, the Robin Williams movie came out on October of 1998, so if anything "What dreams may come" is most likely based off the Colorful novel, its either that or its just a huge coincidence with the premise and thats not unheard of, but then again this is hollywood we are talking about they literally copy a lot of things from Japan like Godzilla and power rangers

Is this based off of/inspired by the anime movie "Colorful"(2010)? It's a similar plot: a spirit is attempting to reincarnate in the realm after death but a guardian appears stating that he is unable to reincarnate due to committing a sin. His spirit is then transferred into a boy who is in the hospital. If he wants to reincarnate, he must figure out what the sin he himself committed was in 6 months in order to reincarnate. He then figures out at the end that he was the boy he is inhabiting and that he ended his life due to not being happy and appreciating what he had. He then finds meaning in life and decides to cherish his life

This movie seems to take a lot of inspiration from the Japanese anime called colorful, like I sh1t you not this plot is almost similar down to the premise and plot development, literally the main character is also an artist, like they could have made it less obvious

tbh, this movie has a very stupid lesson. the poor boy has every right to do what he did, and for some reason it's always the a-holes with good life trying to force their value and belief onto their victims. the amount of people trying to take their life are getting worse. it won't stop until a-holes like the writers in this movies start taking responsibility for their action. I bet they all bullied their victims into suicide and is using this as a way to blame their victims
