lucky enough to have had the opportunity to fly to London to see this (main reason I came when I did).. Sam was the reason I chose this (thanks to his amazing performance in Dear Evan Hansen), but watching videos of them singing together made me fall in love with Dujonna's voice. The show is amazing, mix of laughter and great vocals.. and yes, I did indeed shed a few tears during the second act. And I got to see more of Sam I ever dreamed of seeing.. so that's also a plus :P
Great interview MickeyJo. Sam hit a grand slam on his first major gig and it's amazing to hear his retrospective. He remains one to watch for sure - and I think many that know him in real life will attest that what you got here was his humble goofball self, real and down to Earth. He has proven he can carry a show and I hope he eventually lands a role on Broadway (and brings you here with him to review it!). There are so many brilliant tenor roles his voice is incredibly well suited for.
I just come across this video and I wanted to say what I thought about this production, so I go to London 4 times a year just to see shows, this musical first came to my attention on West End Live and I thought I will stick that on my list to see, this show for me in 2024 was the one I loved the most I connected with it straight away and just loved everything about it, the 2 actors just wow so how much did I really like it well I seen it a month before it closed and I knew I may not see this again especially with these 2 actors, so last minute I jumped back on a plane and I got tickets for the last show and it was one of my best evenings in a theatre, the atmosphere was electric I’m so glad I got back on that plane to go see this, that is the highest approval I can give this show
Going to see this in May, or to be honest I am going to see Sam in May, he is the reason I booked tickets for this show, because I find him exceptionally brilliant in every way, :)
Same!! And I remember thinking at the time, this is going to go on west end 🤩 just came back from watching it, it was as amazing as the first time watching it!
@VJ-no9ug Fair point but there's a couple of reasons as to why Gutenberg! did so well. 1) It was a Book of Mormon reunion, one of the longest running shows on Broadway and beloved by many people, even if they never saw the original cast so this would be a good opportunity to see them either again or for the first time. 2) It's less susceptible to criticism from people, especially the notoriously harsh Broadway critics since it's intentionally shitty. 3) The cameos, once those started getting posted on social media and people knew to expect a different one every night that made people want to go see it more even if they knew nothing about the show itself. It was also a limited run that was only supposed to play for about 3 months. I don't have zero hope for it being successful on Broadway, I just think a smaller theatre would work better, especially if they do the Little Shop of Horrors route of swapping out the leads every few months or so with recognisable faces who aren't necessarily huge stars. That current production has been running Off-Broadway since 2019 (Barring COVID obviously)
I'm a born & raised New Yorker, went to the Statue of Liberty as a kid. The one thing I still remember about it is: don't go during the Summer on a hot day. Climbing stairs in a confined, un-air conditioned space is not fun. lol Other than that, it's an interesting experience.
Was thinking about seeing Two Strangers while in my trip from the states, saw this video and it jumped to my top two. Saw it a bit over a week ago (yay TodayTix rush) and can’t get the songs out of my head.
I watched it 3 days ago and spent the whole time smiling like an idiot! My cheeks ached. Sam was brilliant! Great show.
Such a lovely person! 😁
I'm a simple girl, I see Sam Tutty, I click and I am never disappointed

Saw this at the Kiln Theatre, and Sam was charming. This interview shows how truly lovely he is.

Saw the preview at Kiln Theatre last November, Sam was absolutely amazing in it. Happy opening night!

Fantastic interview. Would love to see Two Strangers make the transfer to Broadway in the future
It's probably too small scale to last long on Broadway. I could see it doing well Off-Broadway though

I have tickets to see it on the 1st June I cannot wait!!!!
Very late to the party, but what an awesome interview with a genuinely lovely person!
Awesome interview!
Was hoping to hear more about Two Strangers, but most the interview was spent on his old project. Bless him for dealing with you.
You win passive aggressive comment of the day for this one for sure!
Listening to the soundtrack has made me really want to see this show, so hoping to get to the theatre soon
Watching before seeing two strangers
What a lovely interview! 😊❤

Loved the jokes, the set, the songs: 10/10
Great interview! Very introspective.
They’ve just announced the line-up for the DEH UK tour. However, I wish I could just see Sam’s performance one more time (or more…) 😢
