I have a question, is it standard to leave the key in the fire alarm panel? also oen time at my school the second floor alarms didnt go off edit: nevermind im stupid
I try my best but things slip through the cracks and people stock my location other ways anyways so people find me no matter what. Since I don't know where in the video there's nothing I could do
I don't either, maybe he's thinking the drone footage at the beginning of the video where you can see the words secondary school partially. Then again not really looking for that stuff in these type of videos.
I was in 10th grade when my school handed me the keys to the server room, I've been a sysadmin/network engineer ever since. I'm forever grateful my school trusted me enough to run their systems 15 years ago. Seems like you're on the same path but with life safety systems. Neat stuff@@nics-systems-electric
Love your vids and how you Show and explain everything. Dont stop making Videos!
Great video, Nic. I find your work that you do very interesting to see.
3:00 couldnt fight those intrusive thoughts
Its really nice to see you do drills and everything on your videos, Keep it up Nic!
Awesome video! Could you please create a video focusing on the labeling of your electrical circuits?
Labelling is quite simple just like any labelling of electrical distribution the panel followed by the circuit number that's all there is
Your high school is so much bigger than mine wish we had those big buildings in nz
They tore down and rebuilt my high school. Wish I went to the one they built to the old one lol.
Loved the fire alarm drill testing
why is there a sign on the wall by the electrical room that says "heel touches" ??? Great video. awesome to hear that system snychronised
I think the heel touches are for a gym class.
2:42 im guessing the elevators fire service controller is not linked to the fire alarm system or if it was they disabled it when doing the drill
Elevators don't go into fire service unless a lobby smoke detector is activated here.
@@nics-systems-electric actually they are suppose to auto recall even if the fire alarms went set off by a smoke detector that’s code
Your teacher should give you extra credit for letting them pull one of the test alarms
More FIRE DRILLS of course :)
Love your work, keep it up man!
Bro you got a nice high school. Mine is like 25 years old
It's a relatively new school from what I've gathered.
One time a kid pulled the fire alarm well in the drill and did not reset the pull station
2:38 the magnetic door holders don't trip?
No not on a pull station
Nic for the next fire drill at the high school can you be the one to pull it?
I don't know if I did or didn't it depends if there's somebody else there to let them pull it it's good to be nice to people
I understand you be nice to people

@nics-systems-electric what is your relastionship with that high school
Can you do more durability testing videos please
Hi Nic, Great work ! Whatch out that the school location and name can be seen in the video
I try my best but things slip through the cracks and people stock my location other ways anyways so people find me no matter what. Since I don't know where in the video there's nothing I could do

make sense why you would let someone close to the pull station do it for you
It's just to be nice
Hmmm I'm Curious What's The Name Of This High School Building
Where is this?
At one of our high schools
In my country we have a place for you to do a drill with just a key
The idea is to do a real world test of someone pulling a fire alarm.
3:00 😂
This is an old video right?
Couple months
@@nics-systems-electric I was wondering because I thought I saw a clip of the drill in a short
Am I the only one who thinks the school looks like a ikea
Yes, they look nothing alike
You're saying you're still in high school? I'm grade 12 and you defnitiely look older than me. What a surprise!
Yep grade 12
