Inspiring 😍😍 Thank you
Your work is gorgeous. This is the first time I've seen your channel. I was reading Google News. I always loved stitching by hand and used to embroider designs on my own clothes some 40 years gone.
You are amazing!!! ❤❤❤❤
@@eloizazuconelli1270 you are far too kind!
My favorite fill stitch is the french/colonial knot! I know people say only wrap once or twice. Idc! Ill wrap it 6 times if i want for a big loopy knot. It takes forever to fill an area, but embroidery isnt for people who want to finish something quickly.
Second favorite is straight stitch. Using a 6 strand, i like to roughly blend colors together to imitate Claude Monets signature style. Its a fun way to really make rough outlines of figures or mountains or whatever become so beautiful.
@@godslittlestidiot2984 oh agreed on the big French knots - I am definitely a 5 or 6 times wrapper too! I’ve just been doing an embroidery at the moment with a lot of French knots - they would make my top 10 for sure!
lattice work is in my future😂
Thank you Eppie for your video. I love trellis ,it can be so decorative or simple depending on colour and thread. I never thought to use it outside crewel work but it looks lovely in your pieces.
So beautiful your work, please let me know how choose right color and mixed?
sooo good! thank you for this Video. I absolutely love watching your creativity!!
@@cyndifouquette5288 thank you! Definitely hard to nail down 5 stitches so I think I’ll have to do a follow up haha
Your use of darning has really really inspired me! I spent a while working on a little elf woman with the technique. Its super fun! Pekinese is another ive picked up from you; ive watched your tutorial about 10 times. I love the versatility of how much you can add.
@@godslittlestidiot2984 it’s fun isn’t it! Have you had a go at the lattice work?? That one is also a bit of an obsession but I need to get some more pictures to show it properly!
@@thefabledthread I've done a doodle piece recently of lattice! It's so fun! Idk if the difference between it and trellis is as simple as American vs British phrasing (it *seems* they're identical). Getting different shapes is my challenge with it- like beautiful Jacoben crewelwork really shows how many shapes you really can create ❤️
