Sandi, I wanted to let you know you were paid a HUGE compliment by Tim from Linessa Farms in his youtube livestream Q&A on Jan 11 2023. @@S_F_U_L For me it was not trolls. I was in a huge spiritual battle. On August 2 2019 two Huskies got in my yard. They killed 25 young chickens and injured 18 others. That was a Friday, and by the end of the day, the death toll was up to 33. Even after that, I could feel a palatable hatred coming from a neighboring house southwest of me. I broke up with the inattentive guy I was in a relationship with. He was more interested in a gal in Australia whom he had known for 25 years. (It sounds weird but she is a witch and was using his accounts to get to me. Yes, he let her do it too. So to break that bond I deleted my UA-cam account. (Yeah, that is UA-cam suicide.) but I have not been attacked like that since. Sorry to go on about myself like that, it sounds like you have been fighting an uphill battle while being pulled through the wringer backward.
Please don't apologize. I am happy you got out and about. You needed a break! You are fantastic. I appreciate you letting me share your adventures. Love seeing progress that you and Mark are making on the cabin. Beautiful ceiling. Please let Mark know I appreciate him too. Have a wonderful day
I LOVE the sparkle that your hubby gets in his eyes when you come around. And that smile! Girl. I hope to find a love like this one day. Love your channel ❤
You’re back Sandi!! We missed you soooo sooo much! I’ve been in Sandi withdrawals all week, now I got my fix so I’m good……at least for a few days!❤🥰 AND we got to see a little bit of all our favorite ewes and lambs ! Soo happy right now! ❤❤🥰🥰
Lucy couldn't have gotten any tighter into that corner. Peeking over the bunk (in Lucy voice) "Mom I'm in the wrong spot rescue me!!!!!" Had me laughing so hard. So glad to see ya back Sandi. I know the deal with public speaking, I can't do it either. My tongue gets twisted in my mouth and the words grabble up and I melt into a puddle of ooze. Not my jam or jelly¡¡¡ Willow is so tiny and sweet. Have a great week Brock family 🐑🐑
Can you compile a 30 minute video on just the small lambs running back and forth? I for one CANNOT get enough of that!! I could watch it every day for hours on end :)
Being ambidextrous is probably a huge asset in a profession like shearing. Poor Lucy was supposed to be a tractor dog, but she ended up as a barn dog, but she's clearly not cut out for that either 😄
Best tip I ever got is to smile, the bigger the better, before starting an exam or speaking in public Smile, take a deep breath and know that no matter what happens it’s going to be alright
Sandi and Mark…that cabin will be phenomenal when it’s finished. The thought put into it plus the quality of workmanship is great. A very interesting break from sheep 🐑 on occasion. Sandi…you never cease to amaze me with the things you push yourself to do. You have so much to share about your sheep care and breeding and how you have grown your herd. ❤Love everything you share in your vlogs because it is you narrating. You are uplifting and inspiring…thank you!!!
Right? Every time I see the inside, I say "Can I rent that?" I live in California, so I hope that explains why. That, and I love snow and all things cold. And the Brock Family and the Brock Flock. *sigh*
Today is a great day! I had my hysterectomy I. Hopes of getting rid of the cancer in my body…not only did I get my pathology back and scan results today that I am now cancer free, but you put up a new video!! I used your Vlogmas vids during my treatment and surgery recovery bedrest! Keep up the good work!
You should never feel you have to apologize for taking time for self care. Your mental and physical health is so much more important than our entertainment.
I love the relationship that you & Carissa have. You can tell that it is not fake and you both truly get along, work well together and care about each other and the sheep. Sending love from New Brubswick P.S. We have no snow!!
I can't be the only one that would happily watch videos of Charlie shearing all day long! It's just so relaxing and satisfying! And the way he switches hands and keeps the momentum flowing is just *chef's kiss*! If he EVER makes his own channel, you will tell us, right?!? I'm sure there's a lot of us that would throw tons of love his way!
Those little ewes at timestamp 27:50ish, looked like they were thinking, "Darn it, I was not eating that, why are you looking at me!!!" I hollered Sandi. Great vlog as usual. I enjoy seeing the babies grow up so fast.
Sandi, never worry about public speaking, you are a natural. People want you to share your practical experiences, they have read the books, they want to know what REALLY works and you are the only one who can tell them that. Poor Lucy, it was like, I'm trapped now what do I do. Mark is good at whatever he does. As always, from Ohio, stay warm.
It’s hard to believe that Willow and Red are old enough for breeding. It seems like only yesterday that they were born. I’m so glad that all of your speaking engagements went well.
As a former sheep 4-H er, my heart swells with pride hearing those bleats in the barn. It’s been nearly 60 years ago on our sheep farm, Maple Rose Nursery and Farm but you make it feel like yesterday. Glad to have you back. My daily dose of Sandie was suffering.
I so agree with you. I have watched all her videos and was in withdrawal. I’m not a farmer, but I love watching everything that goes on the farm with or without the sheep. Missed you Sandi!!
Oh gosh Sandi~please don’t be hard in yourself and say “mistakes” dear. A “Mistake” is when you repeat the situation with the same outcome ~a “lesson” is when you “learn” from that situation. You are absolutely beautiful inside and out and you have such a golden heart. You are an AmAzInG teacher for so many. You are genuine, loving, kind and an exceptional woman. You are loved by many 🥰
With willows wool. Why not save it up and make it into a blanket or make yard and have that yarn be used to make a rug with her in the picture out of her own wool made into yarn. One day I’m sure you would treasure it when her time comes to no longer be with us anymore. Hopefully that won’t be for many years to come, but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to touch it and still in a way feel her?! She had stolen all of our hearts!! ❤️🧡💗💚
Sandi, you are truly an outstanding farmer with a personality that touches everyone's hearts! Not only did you do very well in your presentations, but you succeeded in making everyone's day with this video! Plus, there was Mark, Charlie, and Carissa doing what they do best! I think the cabin is really beautiful, too! As you were talking about how humbled you felt by admitting failure, that was an incredible blessing to others. I believe a good person is not afraid to admit failure; even as a nurse, I can't do it all and guarantee a medical outcome through success or failure. But I was raised to admit your wrongs or failures, learn from them, and educate others so they won't have to deal with the same outcomes. Well, that one-of-a-kind hairdo on Willow might be regrettable as it's sheared, but it will be back sooner than later. She looks awesome either way in my book! Furthermore, no matter how long her bangs get, she can never cover up that awesome personality! Which brings me to Pita..... she looks at you like mama. However, we all know she is perfectly able to take care of herself! Kids are so sneaky! I thought that adding Rita on would be a cute idea: Pita Rita (not to be confused with an alcoholic beverage, tee hee)! I'm glad you're back home and enjoying your sheep again. We appreciate you so much! May you have an abundance of peace and health! Hugs from Alabama ❤️
My nephew stutters, and being the son of a 29yr army mom (who was literally a drill Sargent at some point) and she used to make him drop and give her 10-20 push ups when he started to stammer. She told us that story one day when my little sister had to present to doctors and nurses (on cancer) for work one day and she was petrified. So when my little sis got up to speak, she began with “um” and she started to laugh at the thought of doing push ups for the audience. So of course she had to share, they all laughed, and she was good to go from there. Moral of the story, be yourself, they can relate, have fun and make them laugh!
Sandi, I am 73 and had to reluctantly give up the last of my sheep a few years ago. I started out nearly 30 yrs ago with Pygmy goats, then added a pair of Pygora goats and an Angora goat when I started spinning in 2004. And then sheep, of course. I loved my sheep. ❤️ I still spin, but I really miss the sight and sounds of animals in the barn. Your channel (and barn, and sheep - and all the babies!) have boosted my spirits. I could listen to you and them all day. Thank you!
I’m a spinner also, I had 3 lovely Pygora goats and my neighbor had a small flock of sheep, I had to retire and I miss those times, watching Sandi and her flock feels wonderful.
I wouldn't use the word mistakes or failures, but learning experience, which we need in any endeavor we take in our lives. We all are students of something in our lives if we are really truly happy in what we do. Thanks for your channel. I am 80 years old and used to own a vineyard, so I know what hard work is and how rewarding it can be, much more so with animals than with grape vines. LOL
Remember that you always learn from your mistakes and can help others to avoid those same issues to be a step ahead. So glad you are doing the presentations and helping others. Willow is adorable!! And Red is such a cutie. Yay Charlie! Thank you for your hard work. Great job Mark on the wood work!
Dear Sandy, you are such a good public speaker!!! The only thing you need to do is to choose one person in the room and begin to speak to him/her. You will do it perfectly.
Poor Lucy looked so scared. Reminded me of one of the first times she was in the barn and the sheep were moving from one pen to another and she almost got trampled. Glad she’s ok.
Sandi have you decided if “little Pita nugget” is going to get a name? (My vote is still for hollering Holly😁♥️) Willow & Red are gorgeous! Charlie’s ambidextrous shearing style is so fun to watch! Definitely need a Charlie/Cammy (from TheSheepGame) collaboration! Proud of you for public speaking!
Welcome back. I’ve missed you vlogs. I did watch you on instagram though. I wish I could have here your presentation about your sheep. Miss ya and I and your vlogs. I’m a happy UA-camr
I think she has already wandered into her name....Nugget! Even when Sandi was try to figure out a name for her, she was calling her Nugget. Sometimes names just appear serendipitously.
I have never crossed my fingers more for a sheep to get pregnant as much as I am for sweet Willow. I know you will keep her for a pet because you love her so much (and are a sucker for your best gals), but its her first breed and I want her to do well :D
Sandi always remember no one is perfect. The fact that you admit your mistakes is what makes you so endearing. If you admit your mistakes, you learn from them. My Mom taught us that at a very young age..
Sandi, thank you for being so open and honest with all your fans! If you don't make mistakes, both as a person and a farmer, you don't grow into who you are meant to be! Keep on being you!
Oh Sandi, so glad you‘re back! 🎉 I just watched some old episodes of the series McLeods Daughters. I nearly cried as I saw how many cuts and bleeding wounds that poor sheep had, after they got shorn! Charlie takes so much care of your animals and shows the respect every animal deserves! Good job ya‘ll! Greetings from germany, I love your german adventcalendar!😍
So glad you are back! I was really missing the sheep and needed a much-needed video! You are the top, when it comes to the care, love and treatment of the sheep and the whole process of the herd. You put so much love into your sheep and family it is amazing that you can do it all! You have set the bar really high and no other herd owners can match what you do! Unfortunately, I have viewed videos from other sheep owners, and they pale in comparison to your operations. I look for new and interesting videos every time I come on UA-cam! Keep up the marvelous work! 🐑🐑🐑🐏🐏🐏🐏I think Willow is going to be a new star of the herd.
No matter what trade/work you’re in……everyone makes “mistakes“ ….this is how we learn and grow! There’s always a new idea coming down the tracks on ways to do things…..experimenting becomes experience! I’m amazed at not only the learning you have to do keep your flock but the amount of learning that you have to know to keep that equipment going when it needs repairs! Keep up the great work you and your family do!
The Cabin is looking great! Well done to the both of you. Think it will be a real nice get-away without being out of reach should the fields and sheep need yall!
Sandi, Gaining knowledge and improving our practice is how we master a skill. You are a great example of striving towards, a healthy productive flock. The goals in farming present a moving target with changing challenges. If all the information you needed to reach your goal were in a book, you would have read it and put it into practice. You set the bar high for others raising sheep and your generosity with shepherds and the UA-cam community that loves you is appreciated. 🤗👍💙🇺🇸🕊
I am amazed how quickly the baby lambs grow. The cycle is quite amazing, birth to giving birth. They are so bouncy soon after they are born then gain weight and spend time lounging and watching the little ones play in between naps. Ha ha. Alot like us!!!
It shows that you finally had a break from the UA-cams, as you seem much calmer, relaxed, and just all-round less stressed. Good for you! Even though you had those presentations, I bet just not having the camera up in your face was nice. As you so often tell us, mental health is very important! But you do have to remember to apply that to yourself as well. ❤
I'm so relieved to see this post. I haven't even looked at it yet but am soooo glad to see it!!! I've been praying that all is well since it's be awhile since you last posted. Ok, now I'll watch it 😁
Sandi`` STOP right now!!! You look at the fail and pt youself down. You need to turn it around and see all your amazing wins!!! So glad you are back. I missed you
I fear making mistakes. Especially big ones. Making them in front of anyone else, ugh, it makes me feel sick to my stomach. Being a mom has really made me reflect on that. How I want to encourage my son, to not let fear get in his way of progress. Sure, be diligent, work hard, strive for excellence, but give yourself grace. And you share your mistakes, are honest, and vulnerable. Most cannot or do not, much less with your class. I admire your courage and strength. Thank you for all you do.
You continue to amaze me Sandi! I bet you did an excellent presentation! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Willow looks so beautiful! ❤ love seeing the Golden Girls! Mark is doing a fantastic job on the cabin! He certainly is the Jack of all trades! Way to go Mark!
Hi Sandi I am so glad you are ok, I will admit the week off did have me worry a little. LOL I always love and anticipate each of your videos and updates. I have watched you for years and one of the things I absolutely LOVE about you is that you are real, you have not changed (in a bad way) when you got more and more subs. You are still Sandi and transparent and not trying to portray perfection. You make it feel like I am with a close friend, not watching an act. Thank you for all you do
You are in no way expected to post all the time, I don't want it to seem like we NEED your posts, we just LOVE them. You work harder than anyone I know and you are entitled to take any time off/breaks you want.

Have a wonderful day
Yes, let Mark know we appreciate him, Jack, Jess, and Carissa, too. Wonderful, loving, and caring people, all of you!
Totally agree!!!
Not my jam or jelly¡¡¡
Willow is so tiny and sweet. Have a great week Brock family 🐑🐑
I laughed so hard at poor Lucy! So innocent.
Can you compile a 30 minute video on just the small lambs running back and forth? I for one CANNOT get enough of that!! I could watch it every day for hours on end :)
I agree I would love that too
And the bucking broncos, whirling bodies, and the lambnadoes.... tee hee! I just want to laugh and run with them!
Oh please make it longer than 30 minutes. I could watch leaping lambs for hours! ♥️
Willow is going to make beautiful babies. How exciting. It’s always funny how one lamb will run , then they all do. Love it so much💕
Willow is just a tiny girl! Hopefully she’ll be around to have babies for a long time!
Being ambidextrous is probably a huge asset in a profession like shearing. Poor Lucy was supposed to be a tractor dog, but she ended up as a barn dog, but she's clearly not cut out for that either 😄
Oh my gosh thank you, I think we ALL have missed you so much! No pressure, you do need a break! But thanks again😊❄️💚🙃
Best tip I ever got is to smile, the bigger the better, before starting an exam or speaking in public
Smile, take a deep breath and know that no matter what happens it’s going to be alright
I’m trying to figure out where the kitchen will be…. Under the loft?
Right? Every time I see the inside, I say "Can I rent that?" I live in California, so I hope that explains why. That, and I love snow and all things cold. And the Brock Family and the Brock Flock. *sigh*
Poor Lucy got stuck, The sheep were really interested in her but she was scared. Good thing she is a good-natured pup. I love Willow's "Blonde" top.
Charlie is LAMBIDEXTROUS! LOLOLOL!
LOL!
I love the relationship that you & Carissa have. You can tell that it is not fake and you both truly get along, work well together and care about each other and the sheep. Sending love from New Brubswick
P.S. We have no snow!!
Willow looks so adorable with long wool. Kind of like a muppet. Maybe a Willow teddy. lol
If you enjoy watching shearing, check out Right Choice Shearing.
@@roosts20412 I do watch it, too! Love it!
So true about Charlie
I am glad for what content you can give. It's a gift and not an obligation. Thank you. Also...Willow! They grow up so fast. She is adorable.
Poor Lucy when she realized she was cornered when the sheep were coming at her.
Wow she nearly got kill by sheep 🙈🙈
Let's all give Charlie a big hand and a thank you! What would we do without people like Charlie who are willing to do these back breaking jobs!
Oh, Mary! What an awesome revelation! Sandi is so incredible, and she brightens up everyone's lives!
You are loved by many 🥰
As a fellow hand-switcher (for some things), I applaud Charlie's dexterity. :D
My dad is a left handed but plays lawn bowls with both right and left hands. He plays competitions and he takes joy in confusing the other team.
@@clarehagley2165 I used to do it shooting pool. Bridge? We don't need no steenkeen bridge!
Willow in enjoying her spaahhhhhhhh! Day ❣️
Poor Lucy, she was trying to make herself as small as possible 😂
With willows wool. Why not save it up and make it into a blanket or make yard and have that yarn be used to make a rug with her in the picture out of her own wool made into yarn.
One day I’m sure you would treasure it when her time comes to no longer be with us anymore. Hopefully that won’t be for many years to come, but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to touch it and still in a way feel her?! She had stolen all of our hearts!! ❤️🧡💗💚
It is perfectly fine for you to take a break. Glad you are back.
Baa baaa black sheep, have you any wool?…..not today! I love Willow! ❤️🐑
I see Willow becoming a Golden Girl eventually! She’s such a cool sheep! And so much wool was on her…
Sandi, you are truly an outstanding farmer with a personality that touches everyone's hearts!
The fewer videos is helping me catch up 😊😂
Black wool hats are some of the most beautiful hats I have ever seen❤️❤️❤️
Sandi, I am 73 and had to reluctantly give up the last of my sheep a few years ago. I started out nearly 30 yrs ago with Pygmy goats, then added a pair of Pygora goats and an Angora goat when I started spinning in 2004. And then sheep, of course. I loved my sheep. ❤️
I still spin, but I really miss the sight and sounds of animals in the barn.
I’m guessing the sheep were like let’s intimidate Lucy for once. ❄️💚🙃
Hee hee hee! P a y b a c k.
Watching the lambs run, jump, and play just puts a smile on my face every time 😊
I wouldn't use the word mistakes or failures, but learning experience, which we need in any endeavor we take in our lives.
I love how the lambs look at you with such inquisitive faces……..”What’s up for today!”
Dear Sandy, you are such a good public speaker!!! The only thing you need to do is to choose one person in the room and begin to speak to him/her. You will do it perfectly.
So happy to see you back ❤
Poor Lucy looked so scared.
I'd say she's already named her -- Nugget, of course! 😍
Again! Super lamb races! Thank you. 👏❤️👏
I have never crossed my fingers more for a sheep to get pregnant as much as I am for sweet Willow. I know you will keep her for a pet because you love her so much (and are a sucker for your best gals), but its her first breed and I want her to do well :D
Willow is a cute 🐑
It is so hard to believe little Willow is ready to be a mama! Bless her...where does time go?
Sandi always remember no one is perfect. The fact that you admit your mistakes is what makes you so endearing. If you admit your mistakes, you learn from them. My Mom taught us that at a very young age..
Sandi, thank you for being so open and honest with all your fans!
If you don't make mistakes, both as a person and a farmer, you don't grow into who you are meant to be!
Keep on being you!
Yay I'm so glad to have a dose of the Brock Flock!! Ive missed everyone's beautiful faces❤️I can't believe how big those baby lambs have gotten!!
Yay Willow!!!
Both colors of worsted weight yarn sold out in 10 minutes! More yarn please!❤
Oh Sandi, so glad you‘re back! 🎉
I just watched some old episodes of the series McLeods Daughters. I nearly cried as I saw how many cuts and bleeding wounds that poor sheep had, after they got shorn! Charlie takes so much care of your animals and shows the respect every animal deserves! Good job ya‘ll!
Greetings from germany, I love your german adventcalendar!😍
You should do a fundraiser for willow's wool...then donate to your local FFA ,sheep group...🤗
Great to see you back. You brighten everybody's day, with a smile and a chat 🐑🐑👍👍👍🐑🐑
Lucy is cracking me up! The sheep 🐑 seem to be confused by her cowering antcs! :-)
I'm so exited to see Willows babies in a few months time ❤️
I am amazed how quickly the baby lambs grow. The cycle is quite amazing, birth to giving birth. They are so bouncy soon after they are born then gain weight and spend time lounging and watching the little ones play in between naps. Ha ha. Alot like us!!!
Gotta say, I love Charlie's accent. As someone who left the US midwest almost 4 years ago, it reminds me of home.
Ok, now I'll watch it 😁
Willow dryer balls, ( for clothing-hoodie like the one for Goat, or a hoodie in honour of the Golden girls club! ),
Willow is so adorable, I like the mop of blonde hair on top
I love watching Charlie! He’s great! I never get tired of watching him!
Sandi I just wanted to say you made my day! ❄️💚🙃
Sandi`` STOP right now!!! You look at the fail and pt youself down. You need to turn it around and see all your amazing wins!!! So glad you are back. I missed you
Glad you're back, you have been missed.
You’re back, we missed you, take care of yourself and your family
Jack of all trades, master of none... better to have many skills than just to have one!
I am so excited to see some willow babies this year. She's such a Beauty. Let's hope she can win over some boys and isn't shy lol
Find 4 spots on the back wall and talk to those 😊😊 they will think you're talking to them even though you're talking to the back wall 😂😂
Oh your baby has grown! ❄️💚🙃
Willow is gorgeous. So ultra fluffy before her hair cut. Your sheep are beautiful❣️❣️ those babies are adorable❤️❤️
Hi Sandi
I am so glad you are ok, I will admit the week off did have me worry a little.
My brother-in-laws wool bags were at least twice that tall, and to pack the wool down was a chore. I never thought to ask him how he was able to move them after they were full. ❄️💚🙃
Our used to be those ones also, thankful they switched to these smaller bags.
Both my sheep channels putting up a new video on the same day. Cammie's new baby is precious
