Great advice Rachel I usually start to put money onto my Iceland card for next Christmas then put money into my savings account for gifts as well but will have to put a little more onto my Iceland card as I didn't have enough on it this year and had to find the extra money to make up the difference so hoping to put £20 a month on the card xxx
That's a great ideas, I am doing the Asda card next year as I shop there more often and I think my Mum is doing Iceland then go shopping on a Tuesday as she will get 10% discount being over 60. That's a shame it went over with the prices rising our savings need to rise too which I didn't think about it xx
Once again, great video. I actually went and got a lot of 15p vegetables to stock up the freezer for into New Year to keep us going. Will definitely be online on Boxing day to see what is in the sales, I try and have a bit of my 2024 budget left for the sales. My brother is on his own at christmas, he much prefers that. I make sure I do him a small hamper as well as his presents and he is quite happy. I will start collecting my Nectar points again throughout the year. Lots of love xxx
Thank you so much, we went to Asda yesterday and picked up the 8p vegetable as we are having Christmas dinner today. Great to fill up the freezer with it being so cheap. I have a little money left over from the budget too so will also look at the sames and see what I can buy for next Christmas and put away. It's great to start early, I have a list of what to get and as soon as Christmas is over I will be buying all the gifts for my niece and son. He has already given me a birthday list haha. I have a daughter who has an early January birthday. So I usually start getting ready for her birthday close to Christmas. I took her to see wicked and she fell in love with Glinda. So I am planning g a wicked birthday party for her. I wasn’t sure if she would fall in love with Moana or Glinda. Turns out Glinda won out. We also going to Walt Disney world this summer. So I booked our time share rental for this summer and paid for it. We started saving for the tickets We also put $100/ month in our Christmas gift fund. So we save all year for Christmas.
I;m sure my niece would prefer Glinda over Moana too, I am yet to see Wicked but can't wait to watch it. A Wicked themed birthday party sounds so much fun I'm sure she will love that. Wow Walt Disney world sounds so much fun what an exciting 2025 you are going to have, we have the Disney Cruise next summer and can't wait. That's smart putting money away each month for Christmas really helps I do exactly the same thing xx
