Superb review ! God there are so many videos out there saying, "Review" but it's just them unpacking the device and having absolutely no idea how to work it. Marked LIKE.
8:47 It may be possible that the system recognizes folders, in which case you can do like what I did for my slow PSP. Create a folder named zero (0), and 26 more folders A to Z. Take the games there and based upon their first-character, place them in the folders. If it begins with a digit, that goes into the zero folder. Then it is easier to navigate and select games without having to scroll through a bunch.
*I just bought this DVD player & I love it. I use it a lot now. Mine did not come with the Game Controller. But, that's okay. I don't play video games I just wanted the DVD player.*
9:25 Is the sound staggered ? That didn't seem to be a very responsive NES emulator. I have this Ghostbuster game and the symbol at the beginning of the game moves much smoother than shown here.
This was really helpful thanks, but I've found the games and put them on a thumb drive but the machine just doesn't bring them up. It brings up various folders (inc. trash) but not the actual games. I don't understand why??
Did you extract the zipfile BEFORE putting the files on the USB stick? The DVD Player can't read Zip files..you must extract it first. Should be around 200 files when extracted..these 200+ files are the ones you shall put on the USB stick.
12:19 Looking at this gives me an idea. What about something that is just the same size and shape as a tablet - but lets you insert DVDs from the top - to play them ? You access of course via remote control.
what happen when it charged fully, are there any flashing light if so does it stop flashing when charge fully or does it disappeared when charge fully?
hold on just a second... how can you use the IR remote when the screen is flat and mounted, if the IR receiver that needs direct line of sight to the receiver, which is (at this point) pointing up at the roof, behind the top right corner of the screen? they reallly didnt think that through lmao. i have a cooau (i believe thats the brand, know it ends in ooau for sure tho) It has the control button underneath the screen because it also swivels just like this one and has the same built in game feature
Go to the DBPower website at www.dbpower.co.uk.com and go click on SUPPORT at top right and click on Software and Manual. Go to bottom of listing and click on 3rd item from the bottom. Download and put on a flash drive and plug in DVD player and play. I hope it works for you. That's where we found it. :)
Awesome review m8!!! Facts :) Just what u need. Thinking of getting one of these for my console collection. Even though its not your usual game system.
The device has an A/V input feature, so have you tried playing a game off of a legacy game system like the Genesis, SNES, Playstation using composite in? If so, how is the lag? Thanks.

Click the link in blue, you may have to download an unzip file, but the games once downloaded, should come up with one on the internet if you click on one.

I tried to download games. I know it’s been a while, but do you have a recent option to get games?
