If commonwealth is used as a long stick to punish the unwanted African nations, why does Zimbabwe desperately fight to get her way back in? And by the way, what is the wealth common about the commonwealth, hosted by the very nation that spent donkey years purging Africa of her wealth? What is the common wealth about the Commonwealth? Just asking. USA was a colony of the British, and she chose not to be part of this members club, yet she is the leading power and economy in the world. I know that can be simplistic, but it holds so much truth in it. It is high time African nations charted their path a and punched their way through to become a formidable player on the global stage. Ruto should be real careful on the stands he is taking on global issues. He represents a nation of people. Let him not be a global activist for people who didn’t vote for him. We have so much local issues for him to go out there. Ruto kindly don’t make Kenya another Zimbabwe.

You don't understand foreign relations he must support Zimbabwe re admission to commonwealth for Zimbabwe to support Kenya candidature to the African union, just the same case Ghana supported Kenya to the African union on condition Kenya will support Ghanian candidature to the commonwealth secretariat.
