The moon has less gravitation than the Earth, so nothing would ever float off the surface, no matter how close the moon ever got. It is the moon that would end up tearing itself apart because of the Earth's gravity.

Just so you are wondering, even if the Moon was going to hit the Earth, it would disintegrate 11,800 Miles away from Earth. This is due to the Roche Limit of the Earth to Moon ratio overcoming the strength of the Moon's gravity. This will cause the Moon to become egg-shaped for a moment until being ripped into smaller chunks and debris either crashing into Earth causing possible dinosaur extinction levels (If large enough) or remain in a steady orbit around the Earth, creating a ring around it but probably more like Jupiter's ring other than Saturn's.

The moon has huge asteroids embedded under its surface. Unlike the meteors that strike earth and mostly burn up coming through our gravity, the large ones have hit the earth and left huge craters, the ones in the moon didn't have any atmosphere to create friction and burn up, they will continue towards earth, too large to burn up.

That's not how gravity works. Yes, earth's gravity is holding the vehicles down with more force than it does people - but the moon would also be pulling on both people and cars with a force relative to either's mass. Basically, it's balanced, and both would go at the same time.

Teachers in schools tell to everyone that light travels faster than sound, but everyone who makes movies doesn't know that. Visuals and sound effects ALWAYS hit the viewer at the same time. It's like with sound in space - nobody even tries to make it realistic. But yeah, cool video, I liked it.

As a child and for much of my early adult life I have had an absolute TERROR of seeing large objects hanging in the sky and being anywhere near very tall structures! Hell, I can't bear simply looking up inside the rotunda of San Francisco's city hall for example! I remember when the Sci-Fi channel came out and their commercial had a woman walking out of her house which began shaking, only to find all the planets hovering there super close in the dusk sky and THAT scared me a little! Which makes it so crazy that in recent years I have developed had an insane preoccupation with finding out what this very scenario would truly look like! I have found some very interesting depictions of events like this, involving either the moon or other planets. Some of them are very good BUT, until today, none have made me pause and bring my hand to my face in genuine horror at the sight! They were fascinating, but THIS is terrifying my friend! VERY well done!

    • @Xtreemo

I am indeed very scared of tall structures and large objects in the sky. There are some videos simulating how it'd be with other planets as distant as the moon from the Earth and I always get deeply horrified.
I think that it happens because we're not used to it. If it were like that since the beginning of times, we'd be obviously looking at it as if it was absolutely ordinary.

    • @ffggddss

@@ShutterAuthority But of course. Also because a hollow Moon would collapse under its own gravity, and wouldn't have enough mass to make the Earth "wobble" the amount we observe it to do.

This is nice, but try to work more on the textures. I like how the movements of objects go smoothly, but the textures need a bit of work, did you import them from assets? Keep in mind that it is much better and easier and cooler if you are consistent in your art (whether imported or created), and this will make you avoid having a high texture on one side, and a lower texture on the other object that both contrast each other and look "not so cool".
    Keep up the work!
