The powerbank caps are in seriel-parallel ( like in the similar fender amps). They should be able to take 2*315V = 630 V ( minus 10 % = 567 V) . If you mount an extra speaker, for 2 in series ( 16 ohms), the output transformer will be happy with the 2 6l6's you chose to use - instead of 4. Best Regards
i WOULD SUSPECT THAT THE LOW VOLTAGE IS KILLING YOUR GAIN, iVE USED SEPARATE POWER SUPPLY TO RUN THE HEATERS BEFORE, A COUPLE TIMES i USED A OLD SWITCHING POWER SUIPPLY FROM A COMPUTER BUT i HAD TO CLAMP DOWN THE 12 VOLTS SO IT WOULD STAY STABLE AND i RAN THE 6L6'S IN SERIES, THEY DO GOOD WITH DC,. EVEN THOU YOU ARE COVERING THE LOAD THOSE TUBES NEED THEIR VOLTAGE. GOOD LUCK HEY DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR 73'S ?
Computer power supply isba good idea. I suspect however that the problem lies within the curcuit. But it was a happy mistake this time! Not gonna try to fix it when it sounds this good. Will try to build another one with that I can experiment with values and also adding a gainstage. No both my 73's are gone!
OH NO why did you cut it!? What a waste. You ruined it. You can just leave it stock and skip the preamp section in the bolt 60/100 and just use it as tube power amplifier! Guitar > outboard preamp such as an ada mp1 > bolt rear main in input > bolt speaker out to 4x12 greenback-loaded cabinet.

sounds epic stock ! that is some very tasty playing
cant wait to hear the final result
Thanks! Propper demo next weekend! 🤘
That caps are in series: two caps 315V = 1 cap that can handle 630V
Thanks! Yes I realized that later 👍

@@Rohbemusic OK smart move. you know of what you are dealing with. what I like about what you are doing is that you know what you want to sound like .

He got himself a nice tube-in-built-pre-amp AND a set of FREE spare power tubes, for that (almost) new 50 watt combo-. I'd call it a good deal !
