A couple months ago I bought the galaxy tab s8 ultra. It's the best purchase ever. I love it more than my ipad pro 11 inch 2021. Because of the large Oled screen, drawing, note taking and multi-tasking. The new ipad pros m4 are coming next week on May 7. I want to trade in my 11 inch ipad pro for the 13,1 inch ipad pro with Oled display as my galaxy tab.
I plan on getting this the tab 8+ for school once i start my job 😅

As a hard core gamer i can say it's still worth to buy in 2024. Best value for money tablet .
Does it play call of duty mobile on 120fps ?
@@NEMES1S__ I play Pubg mobile Indian version with battery saver on and easily get 50-60 fps on hot drop with battery saver off 58-60 fps. Can easily give 90 fps but they didn't unlock it yet. I BOUGHT IT LAST YEAR SO IF YOU WANNA BUY IT NOW I SUGGEST YOU TO GO WITH TAB s9 BCZ IT SUPPORTS 120FPS IN PUBG MOBILE also TAB S8 is soon gonna be 3 yrs old so go with s9 it's perfect

Bought s8 it was ok but not so fast as expected
Now i got s9+ and this is... REALLY...REALLY GOOD...VERY GOOD.....
Just about to go pick one up. Mostly going to be doing writing/creative workflows for my game dev and doing research along with some game dev drawing. Gonna get it for $400 off @ bestbuy. I would get the s9U but I think this will be good enough for what I want to do.
Edit: heh...Got the s8U for $700 but did got $800 for trade in credit for the s9U. S9U is amazing.

I think an interesting comparison would be this vs tab s9 fe vs ipad 10 vs xiaomi pad 6. Since they are about the same price and category, i think. I would like to upgrade from my ipad 7th gen but i don’t know what to get. I don’t like to have the latest and greatest and i believe this price-to-specs ratio category is a sweet spot for most people.
One UI 6.1 is about to come on May. I don't expecting the AI come with it, just fix Dex full screen problem and make it smooth and less resource consuming if possible. I'm still thinking about rollback to One UI 5.1.

I would honestly opt for the S8+, I also have the same doubt and I am looking at the specifications of both, and the only bad thing that the S8+ can have is that it is from a previous year and therefore will have one year less support, but the tablet itself is still a very good device, with much better power than the S9 FE+, a much nicer screen, 4 speakers, and a screen almost the same size.
Should I go for Tab S8 or IPad Air 2024 M2
probably ipad for more software updates if it was me unless i could get the s8 pretty cheap
