It should be noted that the knowledge and technology surrounding the Alaya-Vijnana System wasn't truly lost in Iron Blooded Orphans , but rather kept secret by an elite within Gjallarhorn , since McGillis ended up undergoing the operation most likely without risks , and using the same technology and going a step further , Vidar was able to create a new prototype " Alaya-Vijnana Type-E " system that could be used without limiters and wouldn't damage the user's motor functions either . But both systems worked in the same way in the sense that it seemed to " repair " the user's motor functions if they had been previously damaged while they were connected , as seen with Mikazuki , but also Gaelio who seemingly lost the use of his legs when he was " killed " , yet was able to walk as long as he had the Type-E interface grafted in his neck .
The system McGillis has is a redevelopment of the technology based on data. Most AV systems we see were lesser versions made using what little data remained while Gjallarhorn was trying to redevelop the technology in secret while publicly demonizing the technology.
It should also be noted that those used in the current timeline except the one used by Mc Gillis and possibly Gaelio as well as Ein are a black market version that was leaked and incompete and due to the fall in technology from that era, It became far more dangerous as a result.
As stated in episode 43, the Type-E AV System allowed the pilot to possess all the abilities of a normal AV user like Mikazuki without there being an enormous strain on the user's brain (since the Type-E also used the remnants of Ein's brain as a buffer). Meaning that, while Galieo controlled what the suit went after, the Type-E was the one in control meaning that there was no risk to Galieo's health if he went all out unlike Mikazuki who had to deal with the strain of removing the Barbatos's limiters unassisted. The reason why you see him in a wheelchair at the end of the series is more than likely due to the surgery to remove the Type-E System which probably left him in a temporarily weakened state since it was connected directly to his nervous system.

The RX-79 [G] Gundam Ground Type is a really basic Gundam. It's just a more durable GM Ground Type really. It's also my favorite Gundam of all time so I would just love to pilot one!! Oh well...at least videogames are an option.

All lockon's gundam can also be count too. It has support ai from haro for all it's purpose and the pilot can command haro with ease for all of it's need and more importaly haro is the one that mostly taking control of all bits on the gundam

One other bonus to the Ex-S: a Core Fighter. You know, that thing that only exists in rare mobile suits to enhance pilot survivability. Just in case ALICE can't hack it, you can peace on out.
the best part about the IBO Gundams is that even without the AV system, you can still get impressive results out of them - Gaelio didn't have it, and still gave Mika a run for his money in S1, and Astaroth has a system fitted so you can initiate an (albeit less effective) nerve link through Argi's mechanical hand, the far less potentially deadly operation. Also... what's a bit of damage to the cerebral nerves, don't use those much anyway
@@boxtank5288 Thing is: 1, I find the Yanderes quite... exhilarating... 2, with my shitty skills, she will have no time to be pissy with everyone else, she will have to spend the entire time saving my helpless ass!
Another thing with the ALICE system that it actually developed a level of self-awareness... and by the end of Gundam Sentinel, she sacrificed herself (together with the Ex-S) to destroy a mobile armor (which was a decisive point of losing/winning the battle) during re-entry after ejecting the pilot off via the core fighter safely
Which tells us that ALICE can make selfless decisions. So you get a Gundam you can pilot, that gets easier to pilot over time, with built in AI companion.
That’s just how guns with extremely high fire rates sound; the sounds of the individual shots blend together when you’re firing dozens and dozens of them per second. Granted, this applies for standard kinetic weapons. Who knows what a beam Gatling gun would sound like.
Ninja Vanish23 but it also fires two hundred dollar, custom-tooled cartridges at ten thousand rounds per minute. It costs four hundred thousand dollars to fire this mobile suit for twelve seconds

@Help Me actually no seed is pretty well regarded due to having very good animation and very pleasing to the eye gundams, it just has a bland story. which is exasperated by the sequel destiny. 00 basically did what seed did but actually had good writers and then IBO came along and gave up on big meha fights in favor of a more detailed story.(which has led to a lot of people over estimating the power of the gundams in IBO in regards to things like which verse beats which)
@Help Me i mean you literally need to be an alien to pilot the Els god quanta, its literally written in there "ELS", the video is all about the best MS for an AVERAGE JOE. and for me personally dynames is better than exia
@Help Me Exia is only really god tier if you are a skilled pilot though, especially since it's mostly a melee suit. EX S is actually comparable to Virtue in terms of firepower, except it will make any random pilot fight with it like a newtype ace.
From what I have heard, the only reason the chubby kid and Rain felt pain and were struggling to wear the suit was mainly because the system was calibrated specifically for Domon only. Had the system been calibrated for the 2 of them, they wouldn't have much trouble going through the process of wearing the suit
Yeah that sounds about right. I mean that type of Technology requirements fine-tuned calibrations, though I also like the idea that it comes with 3 settings, personal setting for the assigned pilot and two general settings for men and women in the scenario that the pilot is incapacitated.
I would say the Turn A Gundam. You can control it with your merest thoughts, it's got nanomachines that can theoretically heal its pilot, it's not adjacent to a nuclear reactor and has an easy-to-use core fighter for quick escapes, and above all it has a super-weapon of such unmatched and mind-boggling power that you'll never actually have to fight a battle if you play your cards right. Also it can carry cows, hold up laundry lines, and it has a moustache.
We also need to take note that even though Mikazuki Augus loses his bodily functions, he regains that back when connected to Alaya-Vinyana system. If i ever Isekai'ed onto IBO, it wouldn't be a bad trade just to secure my own survival. I would try to perhaps maybe dig a Gundam Frame. Amon or Beleth Gundam perhaps?
The F91 is my choice. It already has a lot of awesome features and the bio-computer helps you to compensate for any shortcomings and practically acts like a psycommu with less bad side effects.
I ll go for Sandrock Kai Tv Version. Thoughest armor in AC + Alice Mk2 + Mid and close range weapons but you ll have to start punching people when the swords break.
definitely Ex-S. it's cool, it's big, it's powerful, and it's easy to use, and the most important thing, I like it! it almost felt like an SSR unit in a gacha
Heavyarms is the one that speaks to my soul. Maximum armament to volume ratio. It packs maximum firepower into minimal space. The focus is square on firepower. Though I suppose Ex-S also meets that thinking for vacuum engagements. Not sure how much a I want to trust an AI with a mobile suit though. It sounds great, but if she learns from someone who knows they're a stupid sack of meat... who's actively focused on maximizing battle efficiency and effectiveness.... An AI with a proven record sounds better than operations on my nervous system though. Edit: also the Ex-S has no missiles, which is disappointing. A flying arsenal is not complete without missiles.
Heavy Arms: I don't just use weapons. I AM weapons. People designing the Turn A with its special hollow storage system: WRITE THAT DOWN! WRITE THAT DOWN!
Gundam ✔️ A metric fuck ton of weapons✔️ Very good armor✔️ An AI that can take control of the gundam and pilot it much better then you while you get the credit✔️ Said AI putting your life into consideration and actually wants you to live✔️ Seems like a pretty sweet deal.
The G Gundam series mocap cockpit was amazing. Its basically Daimos. More mobile suits should use it because it just removes all the questions of how two joysticks let pilots make Gundams do all sorts of things.
I'm just happy that Heavy Arms ended up on the list, because it is one of my most favorite Gundams ever. And the Endless Waltz versions only look even better to me.
As far as I'm aware, the danger of the Mobile Trace system comes from calibration. In order to use a Mobile Fighter effectively, its MTS has to be calibrated to work with you specifically. So as long as you're using your own Mobile Fighter, there shouldn't be any problems.
the Turn units can be piloted by anyone. the only downside is... you'll never unlock its full potential. (this means you can only use the MB on nerfed mode) hey, at least you got the strongest beat stick in your timeline.
I'd settle for Gundam Zabanya, because you can't go wrong with having enough rifle bits and missile pods to delete *EVERYTHING* in a wide area. It's pretty much Heavyarms on bath salts.
Wait. Wasn't McGillis able to research the Alaya-Vijnana system? Near the end of season 2, he was able to undergo the surgery as an adult. Oh well, I guess he carried the secrets of that research [SPOILER ALERT] to the grave. Nonetheless, it means someone devoted enough (and has the resources) can make it viable again in modern PD.
nah i'll just take any Celestial Being's Gundam with genuine GN Drive and Haro piloting assist, who knows maybe i'll graduate from being a cannon fodder
Those guys didn't have special Newtype powers, but they are all professional military-grade pilots. Gato is an ace, Chris is a testing pilot. This video is implying which are the best gundams for any of us regular folks (minimal training) to pilot. Preferably with an AI assist system or aim-bot, just sit back and to shoot stuff.
From what I hear from this video, I'd *really* love to use the heavyarms in GBO2, I loved the tb full armor gundam from the sheer ammount of SPAM I could pull with it, going as far as me calling it "a walking arsenal" and having the heavyarms would be like having the tb full armor gundam but with even. More. SPAM.
From what I remember about the G Gundam suit interface is that if your body wasn't physically capable or if your mind wasn't strong, the membrane would completely shatter your skeleton and then some. That's pretty damn dangerous lmao.
6:37 Really? Nether Gundam? Have you seen the way it got wrecked by the Zues Gundam? I would rather pilot the Master Gundam, with Fuunsaiki as my support machine.
As far as I can tell it's due to having nine weapons available in addition to what's on the mobile suit you're already piloting, and having to shift your MS's energy flow to the additional weaponry. You'd need a Coordinator's mental processes to use it to its full potential.
6:30 Best part of this video. I prefer to piloted a grunt MS (especially Zeon grunt MS) and paint it into my personal color scheme over a Gundam. That is what real badass would do, an Ace Custom. (my go-to personal color scheme is dark gray and navy blue, thinking Gustav Karl as an example)
Personally, I'd update the cocpit systems of the heavy arms with the Freedom and Justice's targeting unit if at all possible. We're never shown Trowa locking onto anything at all except for that one time when he was piloting the wing zero and he locked onto the fleeing Taurus unit. When he was using the Taurus unit, he was duel wielding OZ special beam canon and the Taurus regular gun, he still wasn't aiming but spraying space with shots left and right. I'd want more precision thank you very much.
Fun cross over is Ibo + halo. the spartan 2s or 3s given this stuff would be devastating. And they have the neural link stuff as shown in one of the games or movies or short videos.
1. Heavyarms, as it says on its tin, HEAVY ARMS is hard to control its heavy arms! It almost doesn't have any computer-assisted movement and you have to do everything manual input to almost everything inside. Yeah, Trowa is a mad lad, even Heero complains about it and can't do much with it. If Heero has a hard time controlling it, I'm not sure about the average person. 2. Strike Rouge, with IWSP? That thing is as complicated as cold-war jets. If you don't know how to code any computer-assisted movement, you're literally flying a brick. 3. Any Gundam from G Gundam is a good choice as long as you have better Karate against your opponent. p.s: If your opponents kick your MS in the groin, your Gundam will also reflect the damage to you. 4. EX-S, you don't even need to put a hand on the controller. Heck, you don't even need to be inside your MS. Just tell Alice what to do and you can chill on your local bar when she mops the floor with your enemies. 5. Any Gundam from PD-era is a good choice too, IF you want to risk yourself on a risky neural implant with the death risk become multi-fold with your age when taking the surgery. Also, you won't take any drugs during the surgery and you must bear all the pain until post-surgery. Finally, you will die young even if you survive countless battles from complications and it shortening the life-span of your brain.
I was sort of expecting at least ONE civillian/working MS like the Shadoll or the Desperado. That keeps you out of danger for the most part, and they’re usually more safe and accessible to the average person. Besides, I think that getting in something like the Ex-S Gundam would make me worry too much about accidentally firing off a beam cannon because I pressed the wrong button.
The Junk Guild IIRC had more of those than Eight, so feel free to ask them for one, and if your intentions are noble they might just give you one. I mean, Loewe even outright permanently lent Eight to Jess Rabble! Also, it's not like every mass production Gundam in the SEED universe has Phase Shift. The Junk Guild Astrays IIRC didn't have them. Even its more efficient variant in Destiny, called VPS, is an energy eater so bad that the only mechs that could reliably run it for long periods are equipped with Nuclear Reactors, which cannot run in N-Jammer environments without an even more expensive N-Jammer Canceller equipped. :X If you ask me, EX-S is probably THE choice. Provided it likes you, ALICE will keep you alive until you actually git gud.
The Junk Guild's civilian-use MS that were derived from the Astray series didn't use Phase Shift, logistically, because Phase-Shift would absolutely kill the battery life of any MS it's equipped to, and development-wise, because of a lack of initial access to Phase-Shift tech in the first place. Remember, Lowe Guele is the pilot of the MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame, one of Morgenroete's five prototype MS developed under the Astray Project, where ORB literally stole as much tech as possible from the Alliance's G-Weapon project, which Morgenroete was brought on for, to develop Mobile Suits for ORB's defense. While ORB was able to steal a lot of tech from the Alliance's Mobile Suit project for their own, one thing they were explicitly UNABLE to steal was the Phase-Shift Armor which granted the five Gundams the next best thing to complete immunity to the weaponry used by ZAFT's mainstay Mobile Suits of the time. To counterbalance this inability to grant the Astray prototypes superb defense through electrically reinforced armor, Morgenroete chose to follow the combat philosophy of the "speed tank" by making the Astrays lighter, faster, and far more agile than their counterparts via outfitting their prototypes with only minimalistic armor made using Metal Foam. One other upside of this is that the Astray prototypes also have a vastly superior battery life compared to the G-Weapons, something shared by ALL Cosmic Era Mobile Suits that exempted Phase-Shift Armor following the system's development for ease of mass-production. To my knowledge, the only two original Astray Prototypes to, eventually, receive a form of Phase-Shift Armor were the Gold and Blue Frames. The Gold Frame, which was damaged making its escape from Heliopolis with Rondo Gina Sahaku in the cockpit, would eventually be repaired and converted into the Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu. Among the alterations made, the damage it originally sustained making its escape (the lose of one of its arms) was fixed by mounting the severed right arm of the Blitz Gundam, which was recovered by the Sahakus at some point following the battle at the Marshal Islands, instead of a factory-fresh Astray-type arm. This granted the Gold Frame everything the Blitz had attached to its right arm, including Phase-Shift Armor (which, unfortunately, only affected the right arm), the "Trikeros" Offensive Shield System, which would be upgraded into the "Trikeros Kai", and the infamous Mirage Colloid Stealth System. As for the Blue Frame, when the machine's pilot, Serpent Tail mercenary commander Gai Murakumo, has it upgraded into the Blue Frame 2nd by Lowe Guele, one of the upgrades it gets is a torso-mounted Trans-Phase Armor system independently developed by Lowe to better shield the Blue Frame's cockpit during battle. As opposed to conventional Phase-Shift and the later Variable Phase-Shift, Trans-Phase Armor works a lot more like Reactive Armor. It's a dual-layer armor system where the Phase-Shift is applied to the bottom layer, and only activates when the upper layer is breached. This makes the system much heavier than more conventional Phase-Shift types, but the upshot is that, until the suit actually starts taking fire that breaches the first layer of armor, the Phase-Shift doesn't consume any energy, allowing for a machine with Trans-Phase armor to have increased combat endurance when compared to a suit with vanilla Phase-Shift or Variable Phase-Shift Armor.
The Gundam you would like to Pilot as a normal person would be the Wing Gundam Seraphim. Hands down. Why? because your grandmother can pilot it and is equivalent to a bike with training wheels but can literally obliterate your target. Tiel Noembreux, the pilot of the WGS, is a 14-year-old girl and a Choir student. She's a complete civilian. Yet she survived against experienced and ace pilots, albeit at the beginning with the help of a friend, until to the point where she finally decided she wanted to win in order to find her Onii-Chan. Zero System 2.5 granted the wish by telling her what to do and even taking over most at the time to make sure she wins and compensates for her combat abilities. And that's a LOT to compensate. No side effects on the pilot are one of the best things about this unit as well. Oh and also it will make sure the highest % the pilot survives. Think like how Sandrock had to first make Quatre get off of it before it proceeded with Self-Destructing.
you need a grunt suit version of this. I haven't come across that one if it's up. But personally, i'd want to pilot the EZ8 or the heavy arms. those are by far my number one favorite gundams.

Considering all the mechwarrior games out there, I'm surprised there isn't a gundam battle game that is more popular in the US... I feel like I've maybe seen one or two, but never anything even remotely high quality.
Personally as an average person the first gundam on my mind goes to the astray frames which I would have modified to be light and perfect for close range combat and be able to get me close to my opponent to force a melee battle However if I have new type status then my go to is the unicorn since it’s a mid range gundam which gives stronger advantages its learning ai system will help me in combat and not to mention the ntd system would give me enough help when you gotta deal with someone being annoying with funnels one however I do have to make sure to take care of the unicorn since it is a sentient gundam so I would need to make sure no one else could pilot him
I think I would take the Iron Blood Orphans frames. If I just decided to wait till I have a lot of experience with a suit, and then get the system installed into a suit a bit later, then I would probably turn into one of the best pilots.

the best part about the IBO Gundams is that even without the AV system, you can still get impressive results out of them - Gaelio didn't have it, and still gave Mika a run for his money in S1, and Astaroth has a system fitted so you can initiate an (albeit less effective) nerve link through Argi's mechanical hand, the far less potentially deadly operation.

Another thing with the ALICE system that it actually developed a level of self-awareness... and by the end of Gundam Sentinel, she sacrificed herself (together with the Ex-S) to destroy a mobile armor (which was a decisive point of losing/winning the battle) during re-entry after ejecting the pilot off via the core fighter safely

to be fair pretty much all rotary machine guns make that sound, such as the naval automated anti air CIWS.
That’s just how guns with extremely high fire rates sound; the sounds of the individual shots blend together when you’re firing dozens and dozens of them per second.
Granted, this applies for standard kinetic weapons. Who knows what a beam Gatling gun would sound like.

I would say the Turn A Gundam.

As far as I'm aware, the danger of the Mobile Trace system comes from calibration. In order to use a Mobile Fighter effectively, its MTS has to be calibrated to work with you specifically. So as long as you're using your own Mobile Fighter, there shouldn't be any problems.
B gundam for sure.
the Turn units can be piloted by anyone. the only downside is... you'll never unlock its full potential.

You should make an entire video out of the Ex-S
If you ask me, EX-S is probably THE choice.
Barbatos is probably my fav mobile suit especially at the end of the show I love how it has a detachable whip like sword. It’s friggin sweets
It is badass

The Nu absorbing Amuro is an interesting idea! It would actually be pretty cool if Sunrise ran with that idea for Char and Amuro and brought them back at some point as actual living Sentient Mobile Suits. Could even then see how they'd deal with having to upgrade the Nu and Sazabi to keep up with more advanced MS

Considering all the mechwarrior games out there, I'm surprised there isn't a gundam battle game that is more popular in the US... I feel like I've maybe seen one or two, but never anything even remotely high quality.
Damn this is my first time being this quick over a video
Personally as an average person the first gundam on my mind goes to the astray frames which I would have modified to be light and perfect for close range combat and be able to get me close to my opponent to force a melee battle
However if I have new type status then my go to is the unicorn since it’s a mid range gundam which gives stronger advantages its learning ai system will help me in combat and not to mention the ntd system would give me enough help when you gotta deal with someone being annoying with funnels one however I do have to make sure to take care of the unicorn since it is a sentient gundam so I would need to make sure no one else could pilot him
I think I would take the Iron Blood Orphans frames. If I just decided to wait till I have a lot of experience with a suit, and then get the system installed into a suit a bit later, then I would probably turn into one of the best pilots.
Wouldn't Gundams from 00 also count? Look at Dynames - Lockon was able to snipe targets while moving because his Haro was controlling the machine.
