Really happy i found this channel. Very entertaining! I hope the owners turn you loose on that gmc.
👍
Mr Chad, the old dodge looks like you might need a part 2,3,4, maybe 5. who knows. that is fine and dandy with me. I enjoy all your video's and look forward on fridays to watch them.
I'll watch them all
One cool old Dodge truck I like the GMC next to it
Like that old Dodge!!! I guessed it to be a 69, I was off just a little,
You need to make a deal on that GMC next to it,that fits you perfect !!!!
Wow! that is a nice ol dodge. Thanks for wrench along!
Hello Chad. I remember those Dodge trucks which were really basic compared to today’s trucks, But they were always pretty reliable.
When I was going to vocational/technical school in the mid 1980s, A friend of mine had a 1967 Dodge truck with a 4sp transmission with the 318 engine and was the exact same color red and white cab as the truck in the video.
The car that I had was a blue 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo with a 350 engine and my friend and I used to compete with one another on a daily basis in which it was probably a miracle that we didn’t crash-n-burn.
That 318 engine ran really well and gave me all of the competition that I had ever wanted.
The farm where I grew up also had a 1967 Blue Dodge with the white cab and a topper on the bed which had a Slant 6 engine that didn’t have all that much power, But was great as a runner vehicle for farming purposes.
That 1971 Dodge was basically the same exact truck body wise as the 1967 Dodge trucks that I was talking about other than the difference in engines and or the transmissions unless you had the 3/4 ton truck. Thanks for taking me back so many years.
A extra gear and probably a decent set of gears in that truck.
Chad I love your videos, but I have to be honest. I skipped the shop rebuild videos. I understand you had to do it though. BUT as far as will it run videos you are THE MAN!!
I was happy to watch the garage build but even more happy to see a vehicle “will it run” video! Thanks for your dedication Chad!
Next video if you could please fine some time to cut the trees down around the old GMC so it can be free too!💗
You should do the black GMC next to it next
I like that black gmc sitting next to the dodge
Once again great video I only have 2 problems with it 1 its too short and 2 I have to wait until next week to see part 2 LOL
I'm excited about this one fella, I drove dodges when I was a young man back in the day and have a soft spot in my heart for them. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for the next video and thank you for taking the time to entertain us.
Love this channel!
I've watched every video so far, and I'm looking forward to many many more. I glad you got the old Dodge to run!
I'm a Chevy guy myself, and I'm curious about that black GMC 1969 ish setting beside it? Hopefully a future series on it?
Preshate that! 👍
We have a Milwaukee m12 vacuum and love it. We use it to clean vehicles and the house had it for a couple years now with no problems.
Great to see you back in the field again! What's the deal on that GMC that was beside this Dodge?
As always, great content Chad. I would love to see that GMC revived as well!!!!!
Those 318s never die Chad, such a good engine! Your doing a great job working on the old forgotten stuff, good to be watching you keep it up, looking forward to the second part of this now 🤙🤙🤙🤙
I happen to be almost finished with my D-100 project R/T =Ranch Truck. Thanks chadd

Love these old Dodges. Keep up the great content.
Are you planning to do a video on the old GMC parked next to it?
Glad you are back doing will it run stuff. As always I enjoy your channel.
I hope there's one on that black GMC🤞
Maybe 🤷♂️
I was just coming here to ask about that.
I believe you are the “Engine Whisperer!”
Hope you plan on the GMC sitting next to it soon.
Watch out for them waspers ‘n ticks!
God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Awesome Chad good to see you getting out and about and resurrecting these classic vehicles and making them come alive again , totally enjoying your content whatever you do , looking forward to a dodgy part 2 👍👍👍
Man I miss my ol D100 now. First truck back in the day.
I really like the old gmc next to it. Will any videos be coming of that truck?
🤷♂️
I hope so
Chad great to see you back in action working as a lumber jack and will it run mechanic again! Can’t wait to see your new shop set up and running!
My 62 dodge pick-up is 3/4 ton has 318 WIDE BLOCK w/4 speed and 2wheel drive. My grandfather bought it new and love driving it in the fall months when it cools off. Still has the horse shoe marks from hauling the horses from field to field rounding up cattle. It’s still in same paint all green w/white top on the cab. Mopar for LIFE
Really like your videos I was wondering if the black G.M.C that was beside the D100 for sale
when you get done with this truck see if the owner of the black gmc beside the dodge will let you get it running love the video
Hey Chad hopefully we can get a will it run on that old late 60's early 70's gmc
I had the same truck..69 D200 camper special. Great truck..needed a oil tanker following it..sucked some juice.
I seen that old GMC sitting beside it both look what I can tell look really good congrats on the new shop I know you are really going to put it to good use for sure but love the channel I watch every video can't wait til next stay safe out there
I remember those voltage regulators go bad on Chryslers. When they go bad,the truck won't start. Try that next. Glad to see that you are going to get it going!
I like when you work on Old vehicles puts a smile on my face when you bring them back to life thank you see you next week😊
Your videos are never too long for me… more is better
i have seen lot of resurrecting vehicles but you bring to life those that are truly dead, amazing..
That Ole pickemup is in good shape. Hopefully, the underside is as good as the outside is, sure got nice bumpers
Happy to see you back on the car s and truck s again. Chad. Calvin Dayton Ohio. Videos are very good. Thanks for all you do.
My favorite type of videos. Thanks for your work and dedication to making it fun and enjoyable. You know, I hear they make these fancy battery powered leaf blowers and vacuums that might come in handy 😀
By the way sir congratulations on the shop it looks beautiful
Preshate it! 👍
Can't wait to see you get it out 😊 love you video from Australia 🦘🦘🦘 good job
Hello Australia! 👍
Hello Chad, really enjoyed this one! Even when the tree fell on us🤣 Glad to have episodes 2, 3,4,….! 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
“It may be a bit retarded", I resemble that remark.😂
I’m in love with that black GMC next to the Dodge. That needs to go home to This N That Garage, yes sir.
Also just curious if you planted these trees as well…😂😂 Some folks won’t get that joke but I know you will. Great video, once again look forward to the next one.
Yes I planted them all! 😂
@@ThisNThatGarage 😂😂
🪓Paul Bunyan's got nothing on Tennessee Chad... Dodge looks nice, Augh-Ya. Glass, grill and valence look great, yes-sir !
I hope the young lady enjoys the truck. . Can't wait to see the shop layout. Great video !
thank the Lord you are better sir love your content
My Friend Very Good Job ❤❤❤❤❤
It's awesome that you are doing all this for someone else. She will be a happy girl.
Thats a sweet looking old truck. A worthy project for sure and will look great bombing down the road. You dont see to many of those old hulks on the road anymore.
Used to have a 69 Fargo Camper special with the same power train. This truck with the orange paint would have been a stunner new. Thanks for posting the video.
Cool old truck she'd look good just cleaned up with some nice wheels and shine juice! Old GMC don't look bad either
Pretty good looking old truck l hope you get it going good video
I’m surprised you didn’t find a few copperheads in that brush. When I was a senior in 1974 a friend had one just like it except it was a 383 and I thought back then that they were ugly trucks but now I really am a senior and I think they’re a great looking truck and I’m glad it will make it back on the road.
Great Job! Happy to see you turning wrenches again.. as always Thank you!
Love how honest you are when you make mistakes awesome video!
It wants to run after 34 years and it just makes my heart warm. You gotta love these ol' truckages. 😊
You have come a long way for the first day , getting it running and cutting the trees away , but I think the hard part is still yet to come . Can't wait to see what happens next , Take care , stay dry , see you next time ,Stuart in Ontario .
Love the dodge truck video can't wait to next Friday to see the next video
Great video, can't wait to see projects like this end up in the new garage!
This one is special to me because I had a 71 W200. Or I should say I built one. Chassis and cab from one truck, bed from another and 318 and NP435 from a donor vehicle. We were heating with wood at the time and I needed a truck to go out and get it. Loved that truck! Kids came along and I had to sell it and get a truck with a back seat. I miss that old truck. Thank you for the video and bringing back memories!
Happy to see another will it run. Enjoyed the shop build too👍👍👍
Had tick fever 4 years ago and was very sick and weak. Had some complications but eventually got over it. My energy never came back to the former level. Yes , definitely see a Doc on that stuff . I’m paranoid about ticks now. Love all your videos and look for them every weekend.
Excellent video Chad :) also looking forward more videos too this old 1971 Dodge D100 pickup and glad all going okay so far for on this one ! Also hopefully that Black GMC besides it can do videos on be so cool too and like older trucks like these 2 are!
The black car next to it looks nice.probably been sitting there since the truck.
Like me some Mopar that's all I own. Congrats on the new shop.
Yes sir the old Dodge wants to go. Looking forward to next week's video. 😀
Fun video.. looking forward to the removal and getting her running...thanks for sharing
Chad it’s awesome to see another sweptline being saved and put back on the road, but man there are a lot of parts on that one that would look good on my 67 lol. Thanks for all you do and for the awesome content.
You've definitely become my favorite UA-camr since finding the channel at the beginning of lockjaw, I always look forward to "this week's episode"
👍👍
23:44 had a 71 short bed. Stepside. 318. Automatic transmission. 11
miles per gallon. Loaded or empty uphill or downhill
Thiers another jewel on the left the black truck get her running and going to💯👍
Awesome that you are now able to get back to revivals. My GF and I are going to watch this one on the big screen TV. yeeee haaaaaa now...
👍
Great video, looking forward to part 2 and maybe 3… either way you have a great channel.
Ps. That GMC beside it looks lonely.
Another good friday video. Way back when, they made the seat cushions with the holes in them, so there would be more "cushion" in them. It's a standard thing back then. I noticed when it did run, it was pushing coolant out of the hose connected to the water pump. Should be a "fun" next friday.
Skemtileg videóin þin, takk fyrir. Kveðja frá Iceland
Alll RIGHT! Back to the cars and stuff!!!!!
Your doing a good deed. Can't wait for the second one.
46:22 I'm just going to say it ahead of time, I'm sure you'll get to it, maybe at least, but I'm going to bet that carbpotatoe is just about full of split pea soup inside those jets since she did fire off with carb cleaner.. maybe not but that's my guess!! Thanks for the great video, can't believe I've been SO busy I crashed early early last night and missed your drop! You're the best personality out here Chad, thanks SO much for the hard work you put in!! (and fun!)
edit: 2 things, man it's GREAT to hear a young teenager lady is going to be enjoying that nice old truck, man her friends are going to LOVE her!! and the other thing, it's nice to see your chainsaw not driving you crazy since you've fixed them all!! Nice.
Nice work getting it unstuck, and running..,can’t wait to see more..
I got my new mug today! Can’t wait to have my coffee in the morning! Looking forward to another awesome vidja! Let’s git BZEEE
Preshate that! 👍
I used to have the same truck, same color (but a '68) with a 318 LA out of a valiant. It was upgraded to electronic ignition. I painted the dash and cab top satin black, re-gasketed the windshield, rebuilt the gauges, rebuilt the brakes, threw an Edelbrock Performer on it too. It was a fast truck and tons of fun.
Hope to see you on the old GMC beside it
Did you know that Dawn dishwashing liquid and water was the best wasp killer that there is.
And they will be clean as a whistle.
All you need is brake cleaner. It evaporates so fast it cools them down and the rest of the toxins do the rest. I can snipe bees with the straw
Why is this channel not at a million subs yet...this is completely awesome content
🤷🏻♂️ Maybe we'll get there one of these days!
I havent watched since before you started on thr new shop but its good to see ya again!
you are a real Paul Bunyan and a darn good mechanic.yes sir.
I'm hoping to be at Adams,,if I see you I'll say hello! I love watching your videos! It tickles me at the good old" country talk" that I've heard for years!! Your a great mechanic no doubt! Keep on doing these very interesting videos! You tell how to do things the best way,, STRAIGHT FORWARD! NONE OF THAT TECHNICAL MUMBO JUMBO!! that in my OPINION IS WHY YOUR SO POPULAR ON HERE!!
If you see me stop me and say hi!
Good to see ya back
Thanks again for another excellent and enjoyable video.. really look forward towards more videos like thank you 🤠
Milwaukee makes a pretty nice m18 vacuum, it's about the size of a toolbox, it's big enough to hold everything you could throw at it from under an engine bay but not the size of say a shop vac.. They're ok, prone to need to be taken apart an mess with the connections on the wires inside where the motor is, but they work well and can be fixed. I have the Ridgid handheld 18v vacuum and it's ok it's more like the old handheld dust buster, remember that thing? Same idea, but I'm a Ridgid cordless guy just do more carpentry - well, for work at least, but I am growing my Milwaukee tools, m12 though!
Love watching your videos...So glad you built a shop so you don't have to work outside. HAHA!
its odd 15 years ago sparkplug wires would come off without pulling the ends off and they worked just fine now you can't hardly pull a wire off without the end coming off
Facts☝️
Gotta love when a sets just a couple months old and a boot comes off.
China crap!!!!
Very true. Quality has gone downhill pretty bad.
That dodge will clean up good! I actually really like those body style trucks. Didn't even sound like the lifters ticked too bad.
I believe it's gonna be a good one!!
@@ThisNThatGarage seems like it with only 41000 miles, it should be!! It's amazing it's not rotted out sitting in the ground. Can't wait to see it move!!
I like your Spirit Sir..came across your channel a few days ago,,enjoyable viewing..
The little mini cordless blower would be better than a vacuum..those things are great
Had me a '69 back in '95 that didn't look half as good as this thing does right now. I'm coming car shopping down in your neck of the woods one year sir! lol
Any chance of doing a will it run on that beautiful old GMC right next to the dodge some day? ;)
Hey, I think I have the owner figured out. It's not that he's wanting to get the vehicles all running, he's just letting you do the videos so he can get his property cleaned up for free ;) LOL.
Great video as always sir, and I thank you for another enjoyable Friday evening. I hope you have a wonderful weekend :)
hi chad i think the dodge is a 1971 d100 as i recall nice old dodge thanks for wrench along
Hi Chad just an idea for you, how about getting hold of an old fire extinguisher and fitting a car tyre valve to so you have some portable compressed air to blow away the dirt etc. Looking forward to a lot more of your awesome shows 👍
You & I don't want anything to do with another Hornets nest. Ya get them coming after you & Yikes. 👍
