There is nobody better in the business or nobody who deserves his success more than Adrian. He's been at this for over 20 years and he still looks like a kid who opened up the gift he wanted on Christmas morning. I could not be happier for him.
Someone commented below about how they could not be happier for Adrian with his obvious enthusiasm. I agree completely! You would think he wouldn't have time for the "smaller" clients but he always answers emails and always entertains audio discussions. I wish you guys continued success.
I heard these speakers at Overture AV in Delaware and the speakers had been on for 3 days for the break-in process. Even though they were not broken in at that time, they sounded phenomenal. Wish I could afford a pair… truly amazing.
Thank you Adrian for sharing this with us. Very proud of your accomplishments in the world of fine audio. Hoping to get a chance to visit with you one day. Greg
Haven’t watched the whole thing but I like the grading and lighting here. But wow nice speakers. Thanks fir the vid. Can’t wait to watch it in its entirety later.
I like that analogy between car performance and speakers ... Sonus Faber = Joy and Experience ( Ferrari - Built for feeling and performance at high levels ) Wilson Audio = Precision and hyper-Accuracy ( Mclaren - engineered and shaped to execute specific function ) Wonderful insight and information regarding these. Kudos on the journey!! Passion is definitely wonderful!
Those car analogies are used in many branches by salesmen (was 18years a salesman and 16 years of it for Porsche and Mercedes myself…) but unfortunately oftentimes things aren’t so easily comparable with car brands and these apparently striking analogies doesn’t fit.

I sure will do you know of any BestBuy that has the TOTL for the mass public just like me as I'm a Nillionaire. if Klipscch speakers company can make a good entry-level then maybe I wouldn't look at top-of-the-line. Then at times I don't understand when that one song comes over the AM band on a $10 radio. That song was pure Goosebumps. just imagine that Adrian could sing or play a musical instrument. 20 years ago we both agreed that's why we got into the audio business
@@BootJamesOut You can buy some Made In USA vintage Klipsch online for a few dollars. I agree. The Heritage Klipsch made in USA are now for the wealthy when in the 1970s they were easily affordable. Globalisation has shifted manufacturing overseas and manufacturers are using the pretext of locally made to hike prices. It is blatant greed. Paul Klipsch would be livid because he marketed for the masses. Bless his good soul.
We will experiment with the diff amps but Sonus faber generally pairs really well with McIntosh and the speakers take advantage of the bi-amping of the 901s.
As a guy I can't help wondering where are the women audiophiles .There are many fine female musicians so why not . I could list some but what do you all think .
I think more often than not women in general like to keep things more on the surface, don’t want to dig so deep into a subject …especially when there is technics and gear associated. Plus most women these days cannot sit still to listen to music and do nothing else …they constantly need to check their various social media accounts for attention…LOL
@@bikemike1118 I must be an anomaly. I can sit and listen to my system (analog and digital) for many hours. I’m like a big kid in a very expensive candy store every time I walk into Quintessence Audio. I just love it!

Showcasing speakers virtually NO ONE (except the silly money gang) can bring is a bit puzzling. Yes, it's nice your store allows us mere mortals a chance at experiencing the no holds bar of acoustal engineering, but so what. Is it really of any consequence????
I can kinda justify a $250k exotic rare car... All those one off parts and the R&D going to it... however a loudspeaker has 5% of a vehicles parts, 5% of the R&D of a Toyota Corolla... $250K for any loudspeaker is just stupid.. No loudspeaker is actually worth more than $10-15K ... Ever.. Pay more = getting hosed
250k is just a sick, fantasy price … it has all to do with so called product placement. One company builds a big speaker and prices it really high …also for potential customers to build the impression „this must be „REALLY“ amazing. So other companies jump aboard with their own higher end products to not loose out and also want to make the impression that their speaker plays in a similar range …and so the carousel goes on. This very same speaker with the same sonic quality 15 years ago was about 30 k ….and that was already a lot of money (and still is).
"$250K for any loudspeaker is just stupid.. No loudspeaker is actually worth more than $10-15K " - you've missed the point of why these speakers exist.

I’ll never understand why people risk that. It’s just plastic good grief

By the way, I really find your videos interesting, educational and enjoyable. You deserve your accolades. Thank you👍😎
I really enjoy your vids, and now I don't have to crank up the volume for them anymore. Thanks guys!
We would like to hear more thoughts on how do they compare to Wilson's. Thanks!
Wilsons are crap in comparison.Owned both.
Wow! Amazing. I’ll drop by just to listen.
Outstanding content and beautiful speakers 🔊
Thank you from London 🇬🇧

Please make a video with them playing music! :) they look magnificent, thanks for the video. Love the channel
UA-cam has very strict rules now about music copyrights, and he would have to pay for each track that he plays.
I am certain Adrian has a few cds with piano, bass and strings recording made by someone in their basement! Don’t you Adrian? ;)

Hi Adrian. We have SF speakers. Amatis. Why not pair the SE17s with Dan Agostinos😎
can i buy that Mcintosh shirt (medium) Vilip is wearing from you guys and a McIntosh Hat (that he sometimes wears)? shipped to Sydney, Australia?
That is a helluva surround sound system!! Doc BC
I guess you got to go to Canada to hear it 😳🤔
I am still pining for the classical extremas
How do you break-in such large speakers?
With the best amplifcation. The McIntosh 901s are amazing.
Sonus Faber speakers are the real definition of audio porn.
Interesting video. Its mind blowing how expensive high end audio can be.
I would love to hear them. To date, the best speaker I've heard is still the MBL 101E MK II.
How many units of these high-end speakers do you typically sell? I can't see that many buyers in that price range.
if I lived within driving distance of their shop, that is where I would buy.
Stunning,…meanwhile I am off to listen to my $2500 speakers I got at a steal for $250 at a local estate sale as no one knew who Tannoy were lol
Soundcheck?
We need a video review of this speaker.

Legend has it that Elon Musk has 5 Aida’s to for his 5.1 gaming surround and blew all their tweeters and midrange with cheap amps.

Maybe because Sonus faber is part of the McIntosh Group, which owns McIntosh Laboratory, Sonus faber, and Sumiko.
