I have that exact same car
I’ve had it for about 3 months and I got my learners permit like 2 months ago :D
Mileage? Any issues like engine sludge? Going through dips or bumps , sounded like worn sway bar bushings or struts.
I'm currently at 166k miles, no engine issues, just idles a little low but I'm going to fix it. I'm pretty the noise over bumps is the strut mounts, the struts themselves are only a year or two old.
@@fakejeepman06 unless the sound i heard was something amplified through audio while you were recording. I have a 2005 4runner and had similar sound over bumps. Replaced sway bar bushings and sound is gone.
I have read these 3.0 are great motors but can develop sludge issues. Long runs and keeping oil changed and use synthetic is what I am reading to prevent it.
@@DMJ160 Yeah, when I bought the car I made sure to check for oil sludge, I don't drive all that much, I've driven it less than 3k miles since I've owned it.
