Beautiful! I once collected some snowflakes on a piece of black fabric during a light snow. Then photographed them and enlarged. It was fun seeing the intricacy of each flake and I praised God because He loves beauty and cared to make even the snowflakes which melt in a moment, a beautiful thing for us to behold.
Sounds like really lovely photographs, done like that True, it really is amazing how each tiny snowflake is a perfect creation, something to be thankful for!
This snowflake is so pretty. I will try it. I made several of your quick 2 row (new and improved version) snowflakes last year. Yes, I have seen real snowflakes which fell on the sleeve of my wool coat (just like you). This was many years ago. I was amazed that snowflakes really looked like that. 🙂❤
Glad you made those other ones! Yes, I was surprised too, I hadn't realised that it is true that every real snowflake is perfectly symmetrical and shaped like the pictures we have!
Thank you! There is this garland on the wall ua-cam.com/video/izpLKQAlFOU/v-deo.html and bird decoration ua-cam.com/video/-1HoE7xYMVQ/v-deo.html and crochet bauble ua-cam.com/video/dMf9DOoLRzc/v-deo.html
Such a simple pattern and yet when it's done it looks like it took so much work. It looks exactly like a snowflake and I will definitely be making some to attach as a Christmas ornament on the package, maybe several for my Christmas tree. Thank you for showing this.
I tried to google what 4 weight cotton is but get so mixed results so I don't know. But you can make them in any yarn, just need to make sure the hook size is correct for the yarn and the size of the snowflake varies then. I have even done ones in fluffy wool that have been very big.

Thank you. I have quite a lot of crochet cotton, I made doilies, and if I can see well enough I will have to make some of these.
They would come out lovely in crochet cotton! I use a magnifying glass that hangs on my neck when crocheting something small.
I love it when they land in a way that you can see them.
It is so beautiful!
Me too!
❤❤❤ love it. Ty
Lovely, thank you!
Love it.
Thank you!
Thanks tuula. Really handy for Christmas 💕🍩🍩
Yes, hope many people will find this as time goes closer to Christmas

Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing!😊
Thank you!
Thank you for the tutorial! Just made one with 2.5 mm hook and white cotton yarn. It created a nice shape. Next trying to harden, probably with sugar.
Lovely! Yes, sugar works well for hardening and lasts for years!
I love your tutorials.❤
Thank you!
I just discovered your channel. Thank you for explaining so well that this beginner has confidence to try them

Thank you! 😊 Enjoy making some!
My mother made snowflakes. When she passed away I gathered all her snowflakes. I would like to learn how to make them.
Lovely to have that memory! If you have never crocheted one you could start with one of the easiest ones on the playlist in the pinned comment!
@@TuulaMaaria thank you I will check it out.

Howdy Tuula, thanks for the video! I hope winter won't be too harsh this year in Finland.
Thank you! I hope so too, although I'm already booked to be away for almost 3 months. 🌴 🌴🌴
Lovely creation
Thank you!
They are beautiful, but too intricate for me to even think about making.
You could make one in heavier yarn maybe
Can an acrylic or a 4 weight cotton be used?
They will be bigger so they're really nice for hanging on outside trees where bigger ornaments show up better.
