I've been a loyal Griot's customer for several years now. Their spray on waterless car wash is excellent, and is the easiest way I've found to clean my motorcycle, too.
I use the Meguiars ultimate waterless wash and wax on the door jams when I do peoples cars. They love the smell. It is awesome. I've even used it once for whole exterior. It works. I always have a bottle. And also the Armor All waterless wash is great too smells like grape. And is good to wash the rims. Works good.
He didn't want to cause he doesn't want to compromise his sponsorship with turtle wax. After you hear him say "turtle wax sent me this", you can tell how biased he is with it.
Have you tried out chemical guys’ interior cleanser/protectant? It’s another Walmart purchase. I got mine for $10. I’ve cleaned 6 or 7 cars with it and still have about half the container left. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! New to the game, and I would love to gain some insight and opinions.
Nice video. Would ignore the smell test and prefer to see a hand held light in your garage, shining on each section to look for swirls or scratch marks. Thats critical with these products.
Great video! I always look forward to watching your videos. I appreciate that you take the time to put out quality content. I like that there are a variety of good waterless washes out there. I'm definitely interested in trying out the Masterson's waterless wash next.
Well i can get 2 of these the turtle wax and the meguiars was wondering which one would you pick. Also i have tried turtle wax rinseless wash and found it great the finish was real smooth and shiney.
I wouldn't dog Turtle Wax they have definitely come a long way, now back then I would have said go for Mother's or Meguiar's no doubt but now after trying Turtle Wax's ice wax and now using there new tropical wash and wax they are definitely up there with top brands like Mothers and because of that I have started using Turtle Wax brand's again and it's been a long time since i have used there stuff until just last year Now I love Turtle Wax stuff just as much as Mother's and Meguiar's
to be fair they are both very close in comparison and it's 50 50 at that point. I am not here to sell anything but I would say both are equally solid picks.
Great video, my only question is cross contamination. As you sprayed each section I noticed the aerosol would cross your tape boarders into the section next to each other. Would applying the solution to a micro cloth eliminate the contamination? Just a thought. Or is I not a factor? Great video still.
If he applied urr like that it would defeat the purpose of the product. You have to spray directly on for it to loosen, lift and encapsulate the dirty so it doesn't scratch the paint when you wipe it with the microfiber towel.
Great video Chad. As you mentioned almost all these companied are producing stellar products with very minimal differences. Maybe a quick detailer comparison with Walmart proucts and a few higher end products. I own the entire line of Mastersons, Wax Gods, Adams and find myself reaching for many over the counter products often as i feel they are very cost effective and save the higher end ones for special occasions, if that makes sense.
I personally like the over the counter stuff too. I Jace yet too find a better wax than Maguire's gold class. And this is from someone who uses malco products alot. Over the counter products I have found comparable depending on what your trying to accomplish.
I agree with you when it comes to the outside of the car, I mean who goes sniffing cars lol, but when it comes to the inside you'll want something that smells fresh or fruity.... although if you use several products inside you may end up bombarding your nose with the smells lol.
Methodologically, you must apply different microfiber on each panel with different brand. It would increase objectivity... Two thumbs up with smiles for you...
Greetings sir, fan here from Malaysia. Enjoyed the vid as usual haha. Can I ask some newbie qs on clay-barring: 1) Are the bars reusable after washing 2) Since I really only needed to clean the contaminants, and not 'detailing' per se, can you recommend some budget quick detailer that does the job i.e. allowing the bar to glide across? Thanks in advance sir!
the company'tell if it is moderate dirt it is t a problem but spray lot of solution on it as you would rinse it down and plenty of microfiber towels if it is very dirty with mud i would rinse it
Alejandro Azofeifa a waterless wash is not meant for real dirty cars. They work great for washing after a rain or something like that. If your looking for something for a little bit dirtier cars I would try Griot’s Rinseless Wash and Wax. All you need is about 5 gallons of water to about 2 Oz of product.
I justwabted to tell u that u got ne interested in detailing. I watched you one day and u made it seem accessible. Im disabled. Arms shorter wrists are inverted inward no thumbs. so i was kind of scared to try it. But you made it look like i could. Anyway i bought a griots 6 in. And i caught the bug. Thank you so much....tom
Love the vids, long time viewer. The comparisons are my favorite, but the TOP PICKS videos from 2 years ago were really useful. (And you don’t have to put in the elbow grease) Knowing the best products by type for the retail market and then online market saves me money and time. I would love to know the top car wash, spray detailer, spray wax, solid/liquid wax, tire shine, and plastic restorer on the market for 2018. Keep up the good work, maybe an external mic would help?
Now that the pollen season is in overdrive here in Central Florida, I can't even trust using a waterless wash unless it's only been sitting outside overnight. Anything longer and the car is filthy again and I'd rather wait to do a proper wash
oh man I have a video going up Wed where I test the Turtle Wax stuff and bleh! The oak trees in front of my house are all losing their leaves getting ready to kick into high pollen gear.
Subscribed. Thanks for doing this comparison test - I personally love Meguiars line of detailing products. And really want to try their Mirror Glaze lineup! And that smell you referred to? Yeah - smell their Ultimate wash and wax, I was smelling my hands for hours after I washed my car with it!
these are great products but if you want the best of the best go with ultima water less wash and paint guard plus to as a drying agent its water based so theres less harm for the paint and more protection all around from sealants to scratches
It looks like they all work great, but which one do you think for the money brings out the best shine I have a black truck and I've been using top coat which is great but is just too expensive to use all the time and like you I hate a dirty vehicle
Acc0rd79 appreciate the reply, just got a 2017 Vw Gti. Its black, swirl marks definitely scare me. I will take your ad ice and watch more of your videos
Only thing I'd change would be to rate which was the best in each category (example: slickest-Griots, best smell- Adams, least expensive- turtle wax, etc.) Still not picking a winner just gives a better idea as to why is pick one over another based on what's important to me.
Sorry I didn't put any price on them although they are easy to look up. I am out of Waxgods waterless wash and I do have the new chemical guys waterless wash that Walmart now sells.

Try HydroSilex or wet coat its spray on acts like a Ceramic with months of protection and hydrophobic effect uv And V Resistant and all that good stuff.

What's up dude from Philippines.. the sun is kicking out here beginning of summer.. washing and waxing time.. haha
Hey bro, thanks for the video. About to try waterless for first time and have hesitant. Thanks again.
All of them are good, but which is the fastest to clean? It looks like Maguires and Turtle requires less effort which equals the win.
Mate, 11 minutes is not a long video especially considering how many products you're reviewing . Great job mate, thanks for posting.
thank you, so many kids have ADHD now a days and can't watch a video for more than 2 seconds.
The Turtle Wax product is a winner! Did my entire Delmonico Red Pearl RAM 1500 this morning and it glistens like Dorthey's Ruby Red slippers!
I've been a loyal Griot's customer for several years now. Their spray on waterless car wash is excellent, and is the easiest way I've found to clean my motorcycle, too.
Yup, Griot's is a solid company, zero complaints with them.

I am aiming for 25 to 30k by the end of 2018:) Thanks for the support!
@@Acc0rd79 You're at 25k now, so good job.
Love to see you doing the waterless washes. My go-to is Optimum No Rinse but that's more of a rinseless wash vice a waterless wash. Cheers.
I heard a rumor that the new Rain X waterless wash is ONR just re-bottled!
Surprised Aero Cosmetics wasnt in this test. #1 rated waterless wash on amazon. 1500+ 5 Star reviews.

Does anyone actually buy a car wash n wax for its smell? I just want to know how it looks and how water runs off it after a month or two.
I really enjoy these comparisons and reviews. Thanks!
Glad you enjoy!
Good review. I’ve used the Griots, Meguiars, and the Adam’s. As you indicated there wasn’t much difference between them
As long as they all do the job, I am happy!

Have you tried SHELBY WATERLESS WASH & WAX, can you write your comment?
the thing I wanna decide is at what point does this not work ???
Hi I just bought a car recently and should I use wash & wax or only wash what's the difference because my car is new doesn't need wax I think .
I would recommend you do a product review of Carpro Ech2o Waterless Wash and Quick Detailer Concentrate.
I have heard a lot of good things about Carpro.

You didnt compare the results after.
Would have been nice if you misted water on all of them and then poured water on the entire hood with a hose
Great comparison video. You should make a comparison video on tire dressing
I'll probably do that:)
I gotta say I like Griot's speed shine along with the ultimate
Would like to do an update on this with Adams CS3.
Great great review. I also want you to compare them to dualpolymer! It has acrylic resin. How does that hold up to mastersons with the sealant? :D
Thanx bro for the videos and honest opinion..
I'm glad you enjoyed!
That Mastetsons excelled in my book. But the others are definitely nice too.
I absolutely love masterson's waterless wash, it not only washes but has a sealant in it to help protect!
