It could still happen. If they are doing final grading of the area now, then the concrete and brick work can happen pretty quickly, they can even do it at night if they feel like they are that far behind. The covered structures and even the gift shop can be built off site and trucked or craned in. Don’t give up hope!
It’s amazing how slow Disneyland works on attractions. Something like this would take universal Studios 2 months

Always keep in mind construction work is not visually linear. The smallest things could take forever while a lot of the visible work could be done very fast. They could very well open as soon as late August but at this point in construction it is impossible to tell from what we can see. A lot of the work is metal, stone and concrete which is vastly different (visually) than any Disney construction observed this closely from the past decade. A lot of the construction seems to be prefabricated for the queue with the exception of the walls so final installation could take just over a month after the concrete is set.
Don't give up hope for an early fall opening. Let's just hope for good weather!

I was there, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday now Monday was a holiday but they were not working on it Tuesday and Wednesday. I need to get moving.
The muralist is Nikkolas Smith! He's amazing and has done incredible works for Disney, Marvel, other brands and more. Super kind and really just an all-around cool guy.
I am excited for Porto's to come! It was really busy at the main location the other day, and I am guessing it will probably always be like that over here

This whole Portos thing is confusing because NONE of their locations are open past 8pm, and NONE of their locations are open on holidays. I don’t see that working at Disney. Unless Portos has changed their company mindset for just this one location. Will be interesting to see since Earl’s employees still say it’s not happening….lol. Wish Disney would make an official announcement. Obviously the winter 2024 deadline for Earl’s vacancy came and went without a peep from them. On the other hand, Disney once upon a time made a grand announcement for a hotel that never got built. And even lands in the park that never got built. So things on projects can and do change sometimes. 🤷🏻♂️
