I was battling with mental health in 2016 and what God has done for me is he lift my spirit out and gave a miracle to heal and release my anxiety and depression. This song helps me get through mental illness and I thank God of what he has done for me.

Yesterday morning I was driving to work a minister was saying how we as believers tend to thank God for the roses but never for the thorns. Hebrews 12 my friend! When I read it, it was a dose of some tough love but I hope it blesses you the way it did me. No matter how rough things may be, we still did not have to die an innocent death on the cross! 🙌🏾

I've heard this song hundreds of times. I still get chills when he says "...and then alone in the night, I still call out for You, so ashamed of my life, my life..." I was addicted to prescription pills and homeless. I cried out to Him during a shameful and desperate time in my life, and I'm eternally grateful that I did.
